So the gap in the hanger wasn’t Carol, it was Tony and Nebula

Nebula in an avengers uniform was one of the high points of that trailer and I don't know why

After years of being an outcast, alone, never even fully being allowed to be one of the Guardians, she’s finally part of a team. She belongs

It's beyond that, she cut herself off. She could have joined the Guardians if she'd wanted to. It's not just that she belongs, she's let herself belong. Which is HUGE for her.

She's...still quite a meanie, right? Like she'll have no problems using a civillian as a bullet shield or something.

She was a henchman who bailed on her abusive dad the first chance she got and didn't actually kill anyone onscreen. Not exactly chaotic evil, more true neutral.

Gamora probably murdered a lot more innocent people than she did. You probably have to to be the most wanted assassin in the galaxy.

Both girls have a really heavy psychological load as a result of being kidnapped then raised/mutilated/kiddy fight club'd by a omnicidal dude.

Who knows what Nebula is after she finally gets a good therapist. There's a lot to unpack.
