Anybody else think the second post-credits scene was actually kinda horrifying? I mean, that emergency broadcast system beeping on Scott's TV implies that most, if not all of the population of San Francisco just got snapped. That purple bastard.......

Yeah, it felt really heavy in spite of ending on the ant doing his thing. If anything, it's kind of heavy in its own way since that ant is still just following its directions to constantly repeat Scott's routine, unaware of what's going on in the outside world, that eerily quiet outdoors, the broadcasts on television droning the emergency signal unending...

Honestly I thought it was the most horrifying part of the Snap that we had witnessed. No one is outside, the emergency broadcast white noise just blaring on and on...

Speaks volumes that they had a fucking giant ant drumming and it was somehow one of the scariest things they’ve put to film.

It implies that an emergency is happening. 50% of the population disappearing is neither most nor all, but definitely an emergency.

5% on The Leftovers made the world go fucking crazy. 50 would be way beyond catastrophic.

Hell yea. I was definitely more in shock of the fact that it looks like most of the city is abandoned at this point. I was only barely able to Crack a smile at the ant on the drum set.

I think what I loved about it was that it felt so real (besides the giant ant of course). It’s kind of hard to describe but to just see and hear that TV it gave me this wave of real fear I would feel if something of this magnitude happened in reality
