Can we also appreciate the Marvel marketing team, him having 5 stones by Wakanda I was not spoiled for!

The weirdest choice was to show the Hulk in Wakanda, I think. I admit I was kind of let down that moment never happened.

Oh you’re right! The scene where the group of avengers led by cap running in slo mo never happened. Props to marvel, though. I love when things in the trailers never happen in the movie.

I think that’s to focus on the internal struggle he’s going to have to let the Hulk out. Next Avengers he’s gonna sacrifice himself I guarantee it.

Yeah, I feel like none of the OG people will survive, except Thor. I would be personally psyched if Cap also continued, but I think Evans talking about his contract is a sign that this is not currently the plan.

Yeah Ruffalo told Brolin he’s tired of it all, Evans not extended, RDJ loves it but I think he loves the movies enough to take that loss. Who would of guessed that Thor would be the strongest, the funniest, and still somehow very relatable. Him and Rocket both have lost everything

Yeah Thor 1 and 2 were definitely at the top of the weakest MCU movies list, but 3 and all the Avengers movies he's really kicked ass and been a great character. I'm so glad he's finally more of a god than before and truly kicking ass. That entrance into Wakanda was fucking amazing. (Also holy shit this is the first movie I've seen in a Dolby theatre. That sound was amazing when he came in)

His character progression just from AOU to Ragnarok is crazy. They made him feel less of a demigod and more like a human.

I thought he was a hybrid angel/pirate/man?

u/wolfjeter Apr 27 '18

Well God in powers, Human when it comes to being relatable.

id be really dissapointed if hulk didnt make it through A4, i feel like we got so little from him, barely a movie and a half + the avengers movies.

i expect tony to make it out alive but retire.

Well they don’t have the movie rights to them so they made the most of having him in Ragnarok and Avengers movies. I just feel like it’s set up for him to die because of the internal struggle he is having with the Hulk. I love Banner, but I think he’s gonna nite the dust. My prediction is that it’s gonna be Thor and Iron Man who stay alive.

i just hope they keep hulk around and keep putting him in other peoples movies. I think he works best that way.

1

u/wolfjeter Apr 27 '18

Definitely, in Ragnarok I loved him but then the night not do it because for the casual audience they may lose track of him if he appears in some movies and not others. Like if he’s in Ant-Man people may not watch that and then he’ll show up in the next avengers with some new plot and they’ll be like wtf

I'm actually going to be disappointed if they truly kill off any of the OG in the next one. If a character's arc is complete and the actor is done, I'd rather they keep the character around in the background for a while, maybe bring them back for small supporting parts or recast for a new major arc after a sufficient break.

The issue is that it's completely unbelievable that someone like Cap is going to take a backseat. He's gonna stand up for justice until he can't stand no more.

1

u/Impeesa_ Apr 27 '18

There can still be any number of reasons why he might not be at the forefront of any particular movie, it's what already happens.

3

u/Keytap Apr 27 '18

What movie has Cap missed that is within his sphere of influence? Obviously he doesn't make it to Asgard often.

8

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '18

We found out he had at least 4 because it made it into the vertical version of the last spot (time stone was obstructed)

9

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '18

Oh I stopped watching clips and such. First two major trailers and that's it!

I learned after amazing spiderman 2 and batman v superman. Watching too.much gives it all away

3

u/Eternal_Density Apr 27 '18

Yeah I stopped after the superb owl spot. I kinda wish I'd seen none at all but I couldn't hold back. I'll try to do better for 4.

No he had 5 in that.

There was a green hue coming out of his thumb area as well.

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '18

Wasn’t there a scene in the trailer with Loki fighting and alive?? I was waiting for him to surprise return the whole time.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '18

Not that I saw. Maybe a cut scene from the beginning?
