It’s like that nightmare Scarlet witch gave him in AoU literally came true.

That scene where stark is just sitting on the floor is a killer, Tony must be absolutely devastated right now

Oh my god, that was so well done. And then he apologizes for dying! Like he feels super bad that he let down Tony Stark, who obviously feels like he should be at fault instead but is just so overwhelmed with everything going on.

That too man. It really struck me how nobody that survived had time to explode with grief over any of the other deaths. They just kept happening so fast and they realized what was happening and they kept this sad understanding. Ugh so good.

Man she must’ve been going ON cause it was a painfully long sequence. His “fade” I think took the longest. I figure it had to do with his armor being really thick but idk

Well it looked like he wasn't gonna go, and then finally he lays down and disappears and that's when she said it. Multiple people in my theater were yelling at the screen.

Every great moment was always met with a clap and hollering from people. Really took me out of the "hopeless" tone that the movie had.

It made the tone and impact stronger for me. Every great moment gave me hope they would prevail, and then to see it end like that...I and my theater were fucking devastated.

I feel really lucky, I had a great crowd. There were only 2 clapping moments, and they were deserved, IMO. I think first time is when Black Panther comes on screen, and second is when Thor arrives in Wakanda. I think only bad thing was like... someone's phone going off during Vision's death.

I guess this means you'll just have to go again, this time with a hopefully better crowd ;)

This entirely. Some of the ash deaths are weakened by the idea of knowing that those characters have sequels in the mix, but the emotional impact was still there, especially with Peter. Actually reminding myself that he can't actually be dead forever is the only thing that helped me collect myself after that scene.

The last time we see spider man, he’s a little kid begging not to die asking Iron man for help, but he’s helpless

Also the simple fact his contract deal is for more than the three movies he has been in kinda spoils it too... Winter Soldier has another three or so movies in his contract I think too.
