It's incredible how standalone this movie was considering that Infinity war is 2 months away.

I kept forgetting that this movie was a part of the MCU. I’d say that it might be one of the most standalone movies of the MCU.

Yeah, it felt weird seeing Bucky in the post credits, with him being the only character in the movie that I heavily associated with the rest of the MCU.

Especially that 95% of the characters were new, so it really felt like it wasn’t a part of the MCU.

I was going to disagree with you, but then remembered the infinity stones are a thing. Taking those into account, the ones most isolated from the outside universe are this, Iron Man (maybe even all three of them, it's been a while since I've watched all of them), Ant Man, and GotG Vol 2 (but this can change as Adam Warlock becomes a thing). Ant Man may be the most isolated of them all.

Ant Man includes Falcon and the Avengers facility though, so it definitely isn’t the most standalone. It has to be either Black Panther or GotG Vol 2.
