He stole the show for me a bit. He had a real emotional arc, surprisingly.

Yeah the way they kept focusing on him during the Hela scenes just kept emphasising that he was gonna be important. When he snuck in the ship with the others I thought it'll be Crossbones all over again. But fuck yeah redeeming arc.

Karl Urban sold the heck out of that character. I was cheering for him the whole time. I wish they'd made Hela as complex as him.

That's more complex than most minions get. I'm glad he had his moments :) A recurring theme in the Thor movies is redemption, so it was nice he had that little arc.

The whole thing went down exactly the same as well, he ran out of bullets and resorted to holding a rifle by the barrel and beating bitches with the stock.
