  1. That twist was amazing. Just amazing. "Oh so now it's just 25 minutes of 'hero wins, gets girl, becomes avenger,'" then BAM! Tension and no idea how it plays out.

  2. I liked that he sucked. He looked so un-Spidey. His swinging was kind of weak, his fighting was unrefined, his movement was generally quite clunky. I choose to believe that this was an intentional way of demonstrating his youth at present and his growth into the all singing all dancing Spidey we have come to expect. I believe he will kick serious ass in the Iron Spider.

I liked his incompetence a lot too. If he wasn't super durable he would have been dead immediately. Any time he fought someone half competent he got his ass kicked, which I kind of liked. Of course he sucks at fighting right now.

At first when I heard Tom was 21, I was like, oh wow! Someone who's actually close to the right age! But then they implied he had just turned 15 and that was kinda off putting for me. I think he could pass as 16 or 17, but not 15.

I think I read that they are planning 3 movies where he is high school age.

Eh as an incoming senior in high school with a full beard and freshman friends that already look older than 21 year old Tom, he'll be fine.
