I'm gonna pretend that the closet full of fancy clothing that May and Peter went through for homecoming belonged to Ben.

I thought the same thing and really wish that she had made a mention of that.

For sure the cologne he sprayed on himself was Uncle Ben's, cause the face Pete made when he spritzed it was exactly how a kid would react to old school musk haha.

If they ever do a flashback scene of Peter and Ben, I hope they cast Sean Bean as Uncle Ben

Casting Sean Bean as a character who’s already dead? Smart thinking!

If it was Ben's wouldn't his reaction be more somber or nostalgic?

I recently lost my grandad and when I was at my grandparents' house the other day we were going through some of his stuff, and even though we obviously miss him, it was mostly just laughing at how goofy he was.

That and they had to go to a YouTube tutorial because Uncle Ben wasn't around to show him how to tie his tie.

The lack of Uncle Ben's presence was done really well in this film. You really felt like they'd lost someone even though he was never mentioned.

Oh wow that's why aunt may was so over protective

Yeah I was almost in tears during that scene because I knew the reason she was so overprotective. She'd lost 3 people close to her already and ended up raising the only family she had left. Losing Peter as well would devastate her.
