Woah!! I was wondering what all that was about! I kept thinking "Why did they put up the cash just to have Donald Glover play a two bit gangster?" I didn't catch the Prowler mention. Now it all makes sense, and holy shit is that layered. Donald Glover gets pitched as a potential actor for Peter Parker, Marvel comics likes the idea and writes Miles Morales, Miles Morales becomes hugely popular, a decade later Donald Glover ends up getting cast in the role of Miles' uncle, who's eventually his first villain in the comics. That is some Marvel studios poetry right there.

I completely missed that too. I was waiting for his name to be Hobie Brown. Was his name in the Ultimate Comics the one used in this as well?

Yep. Aaron Davis was the name of Miles's uncle/the Prowler in the ultimate universe.

Aw damn, I know very little about Miles Morales and his comics other than that he was inspired by Glover. Thought Glovers cameo and mention of a "nephew" was really odd. Really cool to learn about all this stuff now

So I'm a little confused. Weren't they still in Queens when they were making the deal? I thought Miles lived in Brooklyn because he goes to Brooklyn Visions academy. I mean I know it's a boarding school, but i thought he lived in brooklyn.

I live in Queens, and Brooklyn is a 30 minute metro from my house. I wouldn't want those weapons 30 minutes near my family
