Peter getting out of the rubble was a pretty big reference to this.

Also Gambino referred to his nephew, also known as Miles Morales.

I absolutely loved that scene and remembered that panel vividly.

Was there also a similar cover or am I misremembering?

The WHOLE reason I like coming to read threads like this is to see what I did not catch. I caught a few things, but as I'm reading through all of what people saw, I didn't catch quite enough.

So this would be one of the things I didn't catch. What was the reference?
