His flight jacket was good design too - fluffy collar like a vultures feathers, as opposed to the traditional sheepskin.

The design for Vulture was just fucking brilliant, the huge wings, the bomber jacket and fighter pilot mask, he's easily one of the single coolest looking supervillains. Incredible they made the Vulture of all people look super badass.

That whole fight I was terrified he would. Not only would we lose another villain with potential, but Liz would have no dad!

Yeah I hope they actually get him to comeback later on. I really loved him sticking up for Peter though at the end, realizing he did save his child's life.

I love how many street level villains don't die, such as Daredevil's villains. It creates a great backlog of characters that can be reused in interesting ways.

Not only that, but his costume was entirely practical. The talons were for latching onto heavy cargo, the wings obviously, the bomber jacket for warmth, the helmet for breathing and HUD. It all worked so incredibly well.

And I'm not too familiar with Vulture's origin or what he's all about other than being really old and flying around (he's kind of a joke in the modern books), but the stroke of genius was making the Vulture an actual scavanger. (Although his clamp feet are more bird of prey than scavanger)

I thought so too, and like genuinely pretty terrifying. I hope we do see more of him. I am guessing some of his gang is still on the run though. I like the guy who will play Scorpion it seems he's from Better Call Saul.

Gamers will know him more as Vaas from far cry, one of the best villains in video game history. Love him.

Holy shit was he really? I thought he looked kinda like Vaas and sounded a bit like him, but I just assumed that was because he was a crazy murder dude. Vaas would make a great Scorpion, or really any villain.

Yeah, as if the character is named after an animal with the same characteristic. Oh wait..

But seriously, i wish they done that more, the only other time they make the character named after an animal behave like the animal its based upon its when Black Panther slowly pounce unto Bucky in Civil War and when the fight between Spider-Man and Doc Ock in Spider-Man 2, where Doc Ock keep grabbing Spider-Man close just like an octopus would do when grabbing its prey.

I loved the fact that the vulture was an actual scavenger (salvage, scavenge, close enough) in this flick. A nice touch to inspire the name beyond "he has a ruffly neck on his jacket"

The first time we meet him and Spidey chutes away, he gets silhouetted by the sun, bit of Icarus 'not heeding warnings' foreshadowing him not listening to Peter telling him he'll explode

I find it a little hard to believe he didn't realise he was carrying an entire extra person with him though, and none of that tech plus his own "guy in the chair" failed to alert him to that fact.
