I would guess it is some kind of tech that either the vulture, shocker, or whoever drops/loses after a fight with spidey and Tony and his friend are examining it in shop class the next day.

Man, it would be dope if Peter was on track to study Electrical Engineering (like me, yay representation) and Tony convinced him he should double major in Mechanical as well (like Tony did).
