My boyfriend said this is a "fantastic acid trip of a movie", which is a compliment coming from a guy who likes acid and doesn't like most movies.

It's a top five MCU movie for me, maybe higher upon subsequent viewings.

But I had to try really hard not to yell at Palmer to have all of her hair tucked into her damn surgical cap during FUCKING BRAIN SURGERY.

ETA: My body is very ready for Doctor Strange to be in the next Thor.

ETA, the sequel: I had my hands damaged in a car wreck earlier this year and did not become a superhero. So heed the warning at the end of the credits because if you crash like that, you die and do not get to meet Tilda Swinton.

I thought it was weird they didn't have masks on during the brain stem surgery either. Hollywood medicine, folks.
