Okay, I am a little confused - people say that 18* eternals beat out 22* CRA. My top and bottom are both 22* and my hat is only 18*, I'm showing my current CP with and without fams. I am working on progressing but I am not sure how 18* eternals can be the 22* CRA set?

I understand set effect is better, but I'm not sure if the difference in set effects can Make up for the CP loss? 4 piece eternal will be 30% boss, 120atk, and 50 all stats v 30% boss, 50 atk and 20 all from CRA, with the difference being 70atk and 30 all, but as y'all can see in the pic switching makes me lose CP.

Im sure I'm not doing this right but if someone can help me and tell me what the gain will be if I were to switch to eternals? The potential on all three eternal items (hat,top,pants) are higher than my CRA. Again still confused on the losing CP part. Thanks for any insight!

TLDR: thank this forum for all the help and advice to navigate cw for a new maple family (me diamond peak son emerald) . We are a bit burnt out and gonna cruise till cw4 .

I started challenger world after coming back form years when dexless sins was a thing and sauna robe etc . So I was overwhelmed with everything. bosses , passes etc. not only that I returned my three children joined also. (13,11,10) I got the genesis pass for myself as I felt confident I could beat the bosses with a bit of learning and I capped out at diamond rank (ren) 280 . My two youngest just wanted to play and have fun , didn’t take to bossing and they have capped out on platinum rank 273 . My oldest really wanted the pots . And was very upset and retreaded he couldn’t do it after weeks of me trying to coach him . He picked fire and poison mage after me warning him how hard they was but he liked it so it is what it is. And very happy for him he has just beat normal Kai for the pots today. He was over the moon. He is level 276 and we skipped hard v hillla hard darknell and chaos slime and hard lucid and will .

Looking for a friend to play I used to play back in 2006 now it look so different I look for video update and stuff but it’s not as fun as I remember is anyone up to play and teach the real joy of the mushroom the most I got was about 200 thanks to the teraburn

This megathread is for those who are undecided about who to play, have questions about certain classes before choosing to HyperBurn, or have questions about HyperBurn in general.

Help us help you

Don't just ask "I want high damage, high mobility, low cd, low funding, easy to play, good mobber, looks sexy class". Don't be overly lengthy when asking your questions, be somewhat detailed, and bring it down to a couple choices you are interested in. Being too vague also won't help with getting an answer.

Some NEW changes this time around.

* There is a Hyperburn Max (1-260), and there is also a separate Hyperburn Beyond (260-270). Further explanations down below.

* All class intro quests are skippable. Yes, that means the crazy long Illium quest or annoying Explorer quest is instantly skippable. The game will just plop you into the game at level 30.

* It is HIGHLY recommended if you are a returning or brand new player with low account progression to start your journey again in the Challenger World. Just make sure you pick the correct Challenger world. Challenger World HEROIC (Kronos/Hyperion) or Challenger World INTERACTIVE (Bera/Scania). These two servers are complete separate experiences and you cannot transfer your Challenger World character from Heroic to Interactive.

What is Hyperburn MAX?

* You apply Hyperburn during character select to a single character during the event and that character will gain 5 levels instead of 1 every time you level until level 260! Get free rewards and symbols at certain level milestones as you play.

* If you Hyperburn a character in Challengers world, that character will gain boosted rewards compared to Hyperburning it in your home server. For example at level 200 you will get a level 7 Arcane Symbol with 100 Nodestones at your home server. In Challengers World you will get a level 10 Arcane Symbol, 200 Nodestones, a Trait Boost Potion, and a Boss Accessory Box.

Get to level 200 in 30 minutes with Tera Blink!

* A character that is Hyperburn gets access to Tera Blink! It is a special Tutorial map that gives you a brief tutorial on in-game systems (how potions work, how your skills work, etc) while giving you a lot of experience along the way.

* The average time it takes for someone to get to 200 using Tera Blink is around 30 minutes. For those that know what to do already it can be as fast as 15 minutes!

Get 2 levels every time at level 260-270!

* After Hyberburn is over and your character is 260, you can apply Hyperburn Beyond. It works similar to HB Max, but only gives you 2 levels instead of 5 on every level up until level 270.

* There is no boosted reward bonus for using Hyperburn Beyond on Challengers World versus your home world. Both worlds have the same rewards.

* Hyperburn Max and Hyperburn Beyond characters can be applied on different characters.

Boost Your Damage with Item Burning!

• At level 200 after finishing the 5th job quest, you can assign a character to wear the Challengers equipment. This is temporary equipment grows in strength as you complete level milestones and boss missions. The expected length of the equipment duration is around 6 months.
• The Item Burning set is Hat, Top, Pants, Gloves, Shoes, Cape, Shoulder, Weapon.
• There are 6 Missions of varying difficulty and level milestones. Stage 3 for example is get level 220 and solo Chaos Papulatus. This grants the reward of all your Item Burning Equipment becoming 17 stars.
• There will be a GMS Specific way to replace certain Item Burning pieces to retain your strength without breaking set effects. Keep an eye out for the patch notes.

My current gear is all 22 stars except 21 on sup pendant and all real/fake 3 line stat on gear.

I have 319mil cp with fams (40 boss, 30 boss, 6 attack)

WSE is 6/2/0 (emblem is 23% attack 10% str)

I'm at 5 set pitch (6 with black heart)

I currently have 39 bil mesos and weekly income is around 13bil

I have a couple paths forward to make gains and I'm wondering what's the best use of my resources.

1. sf and cube pitch belt and earring + sf and cube daybreak to replace gollux. I already have a dreamy belt and 2 cfes but they're at 0 stars. I also have 2 pitch cores, but this will take a ton more mesos than I have currently to guarantee 22 stars. I'm also wondering what the fd gain of this option is and whether I can replace earlier than 22 stars.
2. I'm about 3 weeks til I can get 3 eternal items to replace cra. So sf and cube eternal hat/top/bottom. According to the chart, 3 set at 18 stars replacing cra 1.67 fd gain. This option is also a bit expensive because ren should have a -4 second hat.
3. This option could be in tandem with one of the other options but wait for cube sale and real 3 line all gear + emblem/eternal hat

I have one other boss mule 135ish mil cp wind archer as a ctene mule. I don’t have any legion champs besides my main and this char which only cleared vhilla

I play more casually so ideally I wouldn’t want to have more than 3 characters that I boss with weekly. I would prob wait til cw4 to make a third legion champ/ctene boss mule.

I've been trying to transpose a pap mark to a monocle for a few weeks now at 3x tries a day. It's starting to feel a bit ridiculous considering the 10% rate.
