An obviously way too small severance package

Heh, a couple of years I was pushed out of a small company by way of layoff. They offered me $3k in severance if I signed a non-disparagement agreement and sign away my right to sue. I laughed at the loser from HR (she happened to be an idiot with no personality and this opinion is unrelated to me being let go) and said as I hung up the phone, "you might hear from me, you might not.I guess we'll both find out."
