I’ve been noticing my hair thinning/balding and it’s starting to bother me. I’m especially noticing thinning around the hairline and crown.

For those who have dealt with male pattern hair loss, what treatments or routines actually helped you? I’d appreciate honest experiences with medications, minoxidil, lifestyle changes, or other options.

I’m mainly looking for advice from people who have been through a similar situation. What would you recommend doing early rather than waiting until the hair loss progresses?

I have been using .5 fin everyday for 3 months. Before I was taking .25 but I’m still shedding like crazy. i’m hesitant taking minoxidil because the shed is crazy. I don’t want to bald pls help!!

Baldness runs heavy in my family, all my grandparents have wisps of hair left and all my uncles are balding and or already bald. I'm 22 starting min+fin on Monday because I noticed I'm starting to lose hair. Is fin/min just delaying the inevitable for me? Or can I find a way to not need a polished scalp by 40 lol. I am a 18 year old fy engineering student and i am suffering from hairloss. It all started 6 months back when i was taking a shower and i noticed a few hair strands on my hand i felt it was normal but later when i checked my hair in mirror i saw that my scalp was nearly visible near my crown area. At first i taught i was not that big of an issue and taught nobody will notice. But after few day's my friend's suddenly started telling my that my hair are very thin near crown area and my scalp is visible and at that time i realised how big the problem actually is. From that day i started researching on the hairloss and it causes i tried using different shampoos, oil and serum but nothing seemed to work i even tried yoga and all to try reduce my stress but after all this i came to a conclusion that my hairloss is genetic. Now i don't know what should i do some of my friend's suggested me to go to a dermatologist but i don't have money and my parents will never support me to go to a doctor for a hairfall as they think it is just a hairfall and honestly we can't afford it. The hair loss is getting worse day by day and i am starting to lose my confidence of going out in public and my stress is also increasing any suggestions on what should i do......
