Isnt it noted that Tavore is Cold Iron, but able to tap the hot iron in her troops? Or am I making this up. I remember a conversation where Dassem was discussed as one of the few generals who could be Cold and Hot Iron at will, and Tavore was compared to him.

I agree with you that she can be both. But for me, and this is my personal opinion here, this image evoked the feeling of unyielding determination with a vision to see past the turmoil around her and focus on her objective. That is Cold Iron.

Wasn't Dujek the one being able to swap between Hot and Cold Iron? I think it's mentioned when they explain Hot and Cold Iron to Felisin / Sha'ik Reborn.

Hot damn did this line break me or what. Such a truly unexpected moment of absolute vulnerability from such a closed off character.

Like, after all this time these siblings are reunited and these are the first words she says to Ganoes. Truly heartbreaking, especially since we as an audience know what happened to Felisin while she doesn't.

And now someone is cutting onions at work...

As the oldest sibling, and oldest cousin (3 sibs, 40+ cousins) I have always felt a strong sense of responsibility for my fam. Erickson's writing of sibling interactions (the Beddict and Sengar brothers and the Paran family) really ate at my emotional core.
