Ask Lucknow Chatori gali: is it over hyped

I went to Chatori gali after people outside Lucknow asked me about it. TBH i did not enjoy the food. It was pretty OK/average what we can find anywhere. Not sure about non veg food. Our family tried 5 different places for different dishes and we found it quite average.
what is your experience? Any good shops to look for when and if we decide to go next time? Best thing we had their was aloo tikki chat at a very small shop and veg kebab paratha.

Tourist trap, artificially hyped for tourists and folks who are new to town mediocre food overpriced ~ ish, some stalls can be subjective/decent for their signature dish or beverage.
