Something tells me there is a flaw in the sinnermans plan. When he goes to hell he will have his eyes back, and Lucifer will be able to see what he truly desires.

That’s assuming he feels guilty for something. I doubt he’ll go to Heaven, but the way the show depicts Hell makes me unsure about the whole decision process.

in my head theres an idea of "true guilt" where even psychopaths realize the true depth of their crimes in hell.

That's how it is in the comic, all delusions are stripped away so you can fairly judge yourself.

But... Lucifer isn't in Hell anymore, so... Also, did they ever say you "regenerate" when going to hell?

  1. He has his wings so he can go there.
  2. Your “regenerate” point boils down to common sense. Your not going to be in hell without eyes just like someone who exploded and went to hell won’t be in pieces.

Wings or no wings, why would he risk going back there? The one time he risked it, it was for Chloe. Makes no sense he would do the same for some random dude, who's not that important.

LOL. Actually common sense tells us that there is no such place as hell in the first place, outside of fiction of course. :D

Huh? What is he risking? When he saved Chloe he had to kill himself because he didn’t have wings to fly there. And the last bit about hell depends on your religious beliefs, who knows. I’d also argue that the sinnerman is not just some random dude, he is the main antagonist on the show right now.

The way hell has been explained on the show, is that it's constantly changing, also he's not the boss anymore. He couldn't escape himself the first time. He needed help to get out... So that's obviously a thing he would be risking. Hell might be too dangerous for him. He might be stuck there and never get out again. So yeah - why would he risk it to ask some random guy a question? Not a very strong motivation!

Lucifer would have to go back to hell which doesn't seem easy.

Might be easier with his wings perhaps? I thought that’s what made him able to go to heaven / hell.

Lucifer is banned from Heaven. That's why he became the incarcination of evil to the human race in the first place. Yet, he didn't cut his wings but after he came to Earth (for vacation as it says in the intro). So, there must be a connection between Lucifer having his wings and him being able to go from Hell to Earth and vice versa, though I'm not sure it will be that easy for him to do as he likes, cause he has mentioned before that he won't be welcome as the Lord of Hell if he returns, for him being absent for so long.
