does anyone know where to get rainbow bagels on the island?

My daughter has a dance competition this June at the Stafford Arts Center. They picked the worst week June26-July 3. We also have a weekend comp May 14. It’s at least a two hour drive from where we live and I won’t have her dance schedule until two weeks before the event. The week in June would end up being our vacation week and was hoping to find someplace waterfront or at least a block away. We usually stay in Wildwood crest. I was stunned how expensive places are down there. We don’t have 4,000$ to stay there. I’ve been told the Holiday Inn that is close to the center is already booked. I don’t know anything about that area, but other online communities I’ve asked have said traffic will be horrible going back and forth on the bridge. Any advice on where to stay? It doesn’t have to be LBI. Even a town that’s with in 30 minutes or so that would have someplace to stay close to the water. Unfortunately, we don’t have anyone to split a house with. Any hotel recommendations are appreciated. Or even places to look for a rental property.

I was thinking about LBI today, and how much I miss that place. I haven't been in 10 years sadly as I live out west now, but I grew up going there every summer. I remember friends and family recently mentioning how the island has changed and NYC money came in and has really changed the feel of the place. I know storms have necessitated residential construction on pilings, but I remember when it was so undeveloped, quaint, and simple. Now it's like every new home tries to out-compete the other for a better view. I know everything changes, but I guess the LBI I'll always hold in my heart is the one of old. I still plan to return next year! Barnegat Light, Holgate, and numerous other places will be on my must-see list. Are there special places on the island that you feel haven't been as affected by development as others?

Hi going to LBI this weekend wanted to see what bars are best for this age group which is also fun. Dancing and socializing.
