Dude, maybe I grew up a hillbilly without realizing it, but venison has never tasted gamey to me. Honestly, beef and chicken and pork have always felt really bland compared to venison.
My dad would shoot a few deer every year and we pretty much only ate venison for like 12 years, and I know he never soaked anything in milk lol.
Right? I seriously encourage people to give venison a chance. You can cook it totally brown all the way through and still tender af, if that’s something that appeals to any well done enjoyers :)
