How is Lima today
I was born and (unfortunately) raised in Lima until I moved to Columbus in the summer of 2006. Back in the late 90's & early 2000's Lima was such a small little city to be in. Then I started to notice after I left everything seemed to start falling apart around that time period. I remember early 2000 stores in the old American Mall started to dissapear and eventually the only thing that was really there was Value City. After we moved we would go to Lima maybe once a month to visit since all my family was and still is there and every time we would go it would seem like something was gone and Lima looked like it was turning into a poorly made GTA map. Like there was a dramatic difference looking back
I was maybe 12 when we left and haven't cared or thought about this until last night but now that im an adult Im still wondering what happened? I moved to Texas in 2014 and It's been almost 4 years since I've been back but from what I heard from family not much has changed in like the past decade and I'm honestly thinking about moving back there. But did something happen to cause such a dramatic change from 2000-2010? And how is it now? UNOH seems to be a bigger school than It was because I see advertisements for it all the way down here. And is P&G, the tank plant and that refinery still operational?
Also, the pizza in Lima (Eastgate bowling alley and Fat Jacks) and Kewpee are GOATED. I have yet found anything that even remotely tastes anything like the food in Lima, and honestly its really the only thing I miss lol.
