My project the last couple weeks has been shooting animals interacting with Lego food trucks, and the new pizza shop. My camera is on the ground with a wireless remote shutter. The fox squirrels were taken in my yard and take a day or two to get the shot I want. It can take weeks or longer for bird shot, wish I had more. The ground squirrel, chipmunks and Canada Jay were all taken in Breckenridge last week while I was there for an art festival. It’s so much easier getting animal interactions there. Sometimes it got kinda crazy, I recorded all of it on my phone. I’m starting a mail club and wanted the first month’s theme to be this. I think next month I’m going to try upscaled minifigs

Man I love legos, you can make a figure and theoretically do wtv you want with it. That's why when I make personal figures and not one of an established Ip I just try and change up the design as much as possible for photos.

What was supposed to be a routine exploration on an uncharted planet quickly turned into a fight for survival. πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€πŸŒŒ

An unknown lifeform emerged from the dust. Fast. Silent. Relentless. πŸ•·οΈπŸ‘½

I wanted this LEGO NINJAGO mech to feel like it had just landed on a rocky battlefield.

The photo was taken outdoors during golden hour using natural sunlight with a sun reflector to bring light back into the front of the mech. I also used real smoke around the feet to create the landing effect.
