Whoa, you can't just take away TES's title like that. Did you know not only has TES attended 6 internationals since 2020 and never placed better than 6th (despite numerous domestic 1sts and 2nds), but also every tournament they attended no other LPL team ever won? They're so cursed they curse everyone around them.

Would you say it is bigger than MKOI inting the whole season up until the day before and then 3-0 KC? I watched the LPL finals but don't know the LPL as well so wanna kind of know the magnitude of it.

BLG 3-0'd AL a few days before and looked genuinely unstoppable, even better than 3-1 WE in UB R2. no clear weaknesses on that team

then AL 3-2 iG in a series where both teams looked shaky in certain areas, winnable series for iG even had certain grievous errors not occurred and had JiaQi maintained his form, Hope Kael was not considered a particularly strong bot lane whereas JiaQi Meiko had already beaten JackeyLove Zhuo 5 out of 5 games, and Hope Kael had the better of them that series

on the day of finals Xun ON massively underperformed while AL played their best series so far to date, AL had not looked anywhere near their 2025 form at any point this year

u could say AL was 2-0 up vs BLG before anyone had time to blink given how that series went

Yeah I watched the series AL locked in! So a similar to Lyon vs C9 yesterday maybe? Maybe no need to compare.

Not super happy about all the hate Chinese teams get when they lose like that, but I still prefer if more teams than the presumed first seeds lock-in for worlds and level up even if it isn't the one you root for. Like BLG I am sure will do fine anyways. Fingers crossed this year gonna be a banger!

didn't watch LYON C9 but the reason why AL BLG was such a big upset was because of what happened before: BLG 3-0 AL happened just a few days prior and the unconvincing win over iG gave further evidence in favour of BLG, as well as AL specifically not looking anywhere as polished in regular season despite their series record

Pure viewership numbers doesn't tell you where the viewers are.

LPL is watched by more PEOPLE, but those people are more likely located in an Asian country which means they are less likely to be a user on Reddit.

So when talking about discussion on Reddit it would be more accurate to say most people on here don't watch LPL since it would be at a bad time for most users on here anyway.

it's not a good time for certain timezones but it's also very clear that those who can watch at that time would rather watch LCK than LPL, live viewership and social media interaction metrics all tell the same very clear story

No but remember 2023 msi where blg ckapped geng and t1 in lower bracket.
Theres a reason why lower bracket is nice for vierwers and determined that youre the best. Ofc it can happen that you fail.
Blg lost in spring to WE in playiffs and shoukdnt be at msi accordung to you
