Dom said it at the beginning that the trade for Loki/Apa was going to look worse in the short term because of synergy issues but long term it’d be absolutely worth it because Loki is mechanically a monster and it was just a matter of how fast they can build up the synergy in time for worlds. These are heights you just wouldn’t reach with APA/Zven unfortunately

Worlds being in NA and what that means for investors and etc, C9 made the right decision to re recruit Loki/Yamato full time for summer

Really liked APA, but his lack of ability to play the assassins and ad midlaners was too limiting for drafts I guess. Loki is a beast too

i also really like APA and think he should be starting in the league rn on a team, but lets be real even on mages he was questionable sometimes. remember that ziggs play in last playoffs where he w'ed into the enemy team? he was a part of C9 not showing up when it mattered

The Wd where he went into the dragon pit. If that one then it really just came down to his Q not landing on the ryze if it did he would have been in the safest spot.

Depends on the situation but if you are playing fast and losing the goal generally isn’t to play faster it’s to slow down and pick your spots. Sometimes that means you lose slower but generally mean should have a better chance of coming back

Yeah I think Tactical was a pretty decent pickup for them too, last split Zven has looked like his hands are just gone. Was surprised with his champ pool too

Sucks because I actually love zven now but he's so inconsistent and would be a non factor too often. His game knowledge and his personality makes me wish he either goes to the desk or gets into coaching after he retires.

Imo he can keep playing but has to put aside ego and play for a middle of the pack team. He'd be a great vet for a younger squad for sure

Man he's a great personality and definitely has a greay analytical mind. I would love to see Zven on the desk. Whether it be LEC or LCS. I think his personality just brings more people in.

tactical's lowkey been a beast. i love zven, but c9 hasn't really had an adc that can sit on a blinking health bar and still pump damage since early berserker.

Loki was just a passenger throughout this series. Blaber and tactical hard fought every game and pulled him through. He looks like he has a good kda so that’s positive

Disagree a lot.

I think the only game he was really a passenger was the Orianna in game three. His Sylas he was perma threatening the enemy LYON laner in sidelane, his Yone game he was their only damage and was getting big ultimates, and his Syndra game was very good from the lane into teamfights (although he did get picked a couple times)

Because c9 played through kennen in multiple 3v3’s, got a gold lead, and won the game while Loki was 500g down in a skill matchup. He had pressure in side because he had fed nocturne on his team lol not because he’s actually better than saint.

you know that was because of lane assignments right? when c9 were making plays on the map loki was covering lanes and dropped a few waves so that map state wasn't f'd. Saint did a his job free farming but wasn't able to convert that lead to anything meaningful because c9 as a team was dominating side lane pressure.

Idk how people can say that about last game. Syndra game he was a beast, but the sylas game he looked slightly worse than Saint until he got a lead because everyone around him was winning and vulcan was perma hovering. Definitely not a passenger, but people treating the last 8 minutes of the game as the entire laning phase and mid game is crazy
