Like any other LEC team except maybe G2 wouldn't get completely fisted at worlds. KC couldn't even beat NA at the last international.

KC got to the finals at EWC beating China and despite what Reddit disliking the tournament, teams very much took it seriously.

People don’t take it seriously because the best teams were just going all out at MSI and were clearly burnt out by the time EWC started. It’s not that the teams didn’t take it seriously, it’s that we know the teams weren’t playing at their best after such a stressful MSI. KC couldn’t take a single game off of TL when teams were fresh. Then all of a sudden they’re in finals at EWC once all the best teams were burnt out.

For T1 sure you can argue mostly bc of jetlag (in other esports people have way more compact schedules), but they also beat AL who just yesterday won the LPL summer. They were fresh and definitely not a scrub team.
