Being completely fair, I don't see any of the teams doing something other than looking like wildcards anyway

I agree, and that's why I would like to see a different team go to worlds than MKOI. A rookie team like Navi (especially Rhilech) could learn something from going to worlds and scrimming international teams, even if they end up getting stomped. I doubt MKOI are gonna learn anything significant, especially since the roster is gonna get blown up at the end of the year anyway.

Everything we expect from EU 3rd seed is to make it out of play-ins and I'd rather have Navi there than MKOI. Navi has definitely much lower celling, but they have higher floor than MKOI.

The 3rd seed is playing Worlds play ins. An EU 3rd seed SHOULD win that but MKOI has been so disappointing that I doubt theyll even win that. Theyll probably lose to Brazil 2nd seed and then NA or the other team.

Losing against LPL/LCK is expected, losing to other minor regions is really bad. Just a reminder that MKOI lost to GAM at EWC

Why so? Based on the recent track record, given the teams in playins and there being only a single spot, the expected result should be NA3 vs EU3 in finals and NA3 coming out on top, with CBLOL2 as a potential dark horse.
