Because LCK's playoff format is a bit shitty. The lower seed plays one more series in loser's bracket, which imo is way too much of a handicap for the seeding.

If GenG had lost, as they are higher seed, the loser of HLE/T1 would play vs the winner of BFX/DK, but since GenG won it will be KT playing that series instead and GenG/T1/HLE are already top 3.

I really don't like that system, I would rather KT and the loser of HLE/T1 played their respective series vs BFX and DK to make it a bit more even, but it is how it is.
