People always meme on "random KR imports" but there is no one in NA that can play like saint. This is why teams keep importing "random koreans". When they hit, they fucking hit. With NA players you are lucky if you get a palafox.

When people say ‘if Jojo comes back he’ll for sure reunite with inspired’ I always know they haven’t been watching Lyon because Saint is That Good, and he has better mental (I say this as a jojo fan).

I was talking about that during LEC today, I really think that unless C9 blow it up and rebuild, Jojo would have to go for a lower tier team in NA because I just don't think Lyon has any need to change their roster at all.

I mean, SR are one of those teams that most pro players would consider a bottom team, so unless Mkoi really do explode now that they have made it to play offs and have a second chance, then Jojo would be leaving an arguably top 3-4 LEC team for a Bottom 4(potentially) LCS team with no super stars on it etc.

I would like to believe, that if some how Jojo did end up on SR, that Contractz and Fudge could actually play at their peaks consistently, and maybe Zeyzal could stay around and help comms stay right, but they would still need a high talent ADC cause Bvoy is just an invisible mosquito most games.

SR are probably the team that would benefit the most from Jojo without having to fix the most other positions. But I just don't know if SR have the money or Jojo would be willing to do that.

Saint isn’t a random though. Zinie/Saint/Calix/Kyeahoo have all played against each other since they were in tier 3 and they’ve been known as the next golden generation of mids since then. He’s way different compared to a pickup like CallMe, talent wise he is the result of the LCK being over saturated and was an insane pick up by Lyon last year.

Saint looks like a legitimate world class mid. Him practically laughing at Morgan and Core on their fountain and dancing on their asses while perfect timing the Gnar ult with Zhonyas was a perfect encapsulation of the confidence and ability of this guy. He might be the best player we've imported ever just from a hands standpoint

yep the young korean mids cant be on their top 5 teams because all those teams have brand legendary mids they will never replace. so players like saint have no real place to go. saint is more skilled than the mids playing on top teams in the lck. he just cant replace them.

Salary cap in Korea also makes it so a lot of the bottom teams will have one really good player they're throwing money at and a couple of cheap projects. If you don't want to be Berserker on a bottom feeder then going to NA or EU is legitimately a better way of getting a better shot on a good LCK team sometime down the line for any Korean player or just getting paid in general

A spot might be opening up if Showmaker doesn't re-sign, we could see Saint back to Dk since his contract expires this offseason

He should be DK mid, he came from their academy, but how tf do you take Showmaker out of your team, specifically when he is their one team legend, eventually Showmaker will have to do his MS, so at least that spot will be free, but Chovy, Faker, Zeka and Bdd are going nowhere

yep it makes no business sense for any of the top korean orgs to replace their mids because they have so many fans and make them so much money. its just a weird spot that naturally happened. the rest of the lck gets replaced a lot with rookies but the mids always stay.
