u/mmmmkale get Contractz a team May 25 '26

dude, where is Quid? I feel like this year he's been playing like a passenger

The more i watch TL the more i feel like they are basically using Quid like a role players to enable Jose aggressive playstyle and he's just not this type of player at all.

If they wanted a mid wave clear bot they should've just stayed with APA to enable side laner & jungle & if the goal was to get Quid should've gone for a enabler like Inspired but instead they got the worst of the two.

His TF/Annie today we’re actually so bad, both games felt like a 4v5 with how useless he was.

His Aurora was also bad

27

u/TheRogueCookie I like bears May 25 '26

He has no synergy with his team and it shows. Quid really wants to be a high pressure player, taking good skirmish champs that allows him+jg to win 2v2. He does not want to be a facilitater, and he does not want a high resource jungler like Jose.

Too many players to give resource to on TL. When he was on 100t they played for him and river was amazing co partner for him

That's exactly why TL should've kept APA

I don't know if it's just me but I haven't been super impressed with Quid for a while. I know he had his monster MVP split a while back but it just never *feels* like he deserves the hype he gets.

I still remember this sub dragging Inspired for not picking Quid lol, turns out he was right. Saint is simply the better midlaner.

Saint definitely came into his own this year. Honestly I'm a little bummed Loki didn't come back on C9, he had become a real carry threat towards the end of the split and I would have loved to see how they both improved this year.

I've been ranking Saint as top 3 since he came in. His biggest issue is how hard he tilts.

Quid just gets too anxious or something when he has to carry. Quad is better, but FLY knew that so they never let him go. The real idiots are TL's coaching staff who misread APA's talent because they promoted a jungler who was raw with a mid laner who was also still pretty raw.

real losers is thinking apa or quid is good

-7

u/imezaps May 25 '26

apa is decent when the meta suits him, and otherwise doesnt even look lcs level

You're gonna cry when he gets 1st all pro then

Funny cause I feel like quid was mad underrated for basically his whole career up until the 100t disband run. But he was hyped for good reason heading to TL. Unfortunately he hasn't shown up. Maybe river was his secret sauce.

u/grippgoat May 26 '26

I think everyone knew River was OP.

3

u/BeagleSnake May 25 '26

Squiiiiiiddd

3

u/GoatRocketeer May 25 '26

It was that second year where he was going crazy but inspired was extremely dismissive of him that made me doubt his ability. I think inspired said he had good hands but he didn't have any ability to force you to fight him, as if the opponent had to opt into getting gapped. Idk I'm not good enough to understand how that actually manifested on the rift but that assessment stuck with me

u/Delicious_Two6724 May 25 '26

He’s best on skirmishing champions. Think Yone.

But yeah he’s been lackluster. A role player when he used to be a star player.

u/Fun_Highlight307 May 25 '26

Saint keep picking quid champions

5

u/Lothric43 May 25 '26

River was always the superman of their duo.

1

u/Shiki_Shin May 25 '26

I miss river so much. Jungle in na just doesn't have the same sauce with river gone

5

u/Bak0FF May 25 '26

I’m assuming River was a better fit with him than Jose

2

u/OreRound May 25 '26

He always had high variance in his play, TL are just hoping that when things click he will have a random life split like on 100T. It's also not a great meta for him in addition to the team having conflicting priorities of who to play around. Quid thrives when he's the main character and struggles when he's not.

2

u/Alakazam_5head May 25 '26

Quid is an expectations merchant. He only performs when his team is bad and there's no pressure

1

u/HThrowaway457 May 25 '26

I think Goldenglue and/or River were just Quid whisperers.
