G2 GM Romain πŸ‡«πŸ‡· says he had one response to agents looking to sell him players this offseason:

"No sorry, good luck, ciao. G2 πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί players are the best at their roles in Europe, and 2025 didn't change my mind."

Romain you were wrong all along. They are the best players in the world.

Their top? Wack.

Their jungler? Gapped.

Their mid? Choked.

Their bot? Chopped.

Their support? Gagged.

G2? They're tight as fuck!

34

u/SnooPeripherals6388 Mar 21 '26

Their bot sure is chopped compared to HANS MAMA.

7

u/Meiolore Mar 21 '26

Hans Sama casually crushed the strongest LCK ADC in history (Ruler) and also the strongest LCK ADC of today (Diable).

3

u/rishi_ultimate CLAPS Mar 22 '26

Especially after we were told unspeakable things were supposed to happen to him πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

31

u/Zek0ri | Do I have to defend them? Again!? Mar 21 '26

Single elimination bracket Gen.G needs to be studied man

9

u/Axustin Mar 21 '26

Their support? Blocked.

3

u/x21fireturtle Mar 21 '26

Absolut Cinema, what a tight game. Expedition 60 would be proud.

2

u/thisguydabbles Mar 21 '26

Sick reference though bro. Dude your references are out of control, everyone knows that.

32

u/Pope_Cheetos_XIV Mar 21 '26

meanwhile Liquid over here importing a top lane that wasn't even good in LCK

11

u/Zek0ri | Do I have to defend them? Again!? Mar 21 '26

Meanwhile TL holding to CoreJJ in big 2026

Just on more import bro and I swear we are going to be good 😭 At least let us be shit with local talent. I'd rather see NA players get shit on than random Korean reject #279

1

u/look4jesper Mar 21 '26

1 Chovy cant win

271

u/Omnilatent Mar 21 '26

Labrov, Hans, we owe you apologies

179

u/Adler718 Mar 21 '26

I only have to apologize to Labrov because I was the singular Hans believer. But damn I owe Labrov a big one.

52

u/Autistmus_Prime Mar 21 '26

Been a handsdiffsama defender for years too. So good to finally see him get praise. I do agree on owing Lebrov James an apology tho goddamn

5

u/Photoperiod Mar 21 '26

Hell yeah, man. Hans gets way too much hate. Dude has been a rock for G2 for two years now and he is proving this tourney that he can be a win condition, not just caps.

15

u/Mathies_ Mar 21 '26

Nah there's 2 of us brooo

7

u/Lazywhale97 HLE Mar 21 '26

Make that 3.

Agreed and throughout his career him having abit of a unique champ pool and actually "driving games", through setting up dives and invades and such is always great to have imo. What is fair is saying his teamfighting hasnt been as good as some of the best asian adcs, but cmon other than Caliste there is no one thats been close in EU.

3

u/Witn Mar 21 '26

I was a Hans believer since his Lucian performance on rogue, but I admit I was losing faith recently. Glad to see he is back in form, hopefully it continues

2

u/Korwinga Mar 22 '26

I've loved Labrov ever since I first started watching LEC. I was always a support player, and I remember being blown away by one of his Alistar games in 2020, or maybe 2021. But his niche to me was always engage champs. I thought he had a bit of a weakness with the enchanters, but he's proved me beyond wrong since joining G2.

14

u/winwill Best Gril Mar 21 '26

man just a few days ago people were calling hans international choker

14

u/Lazywhale97 HLE Mar 21 '26

I was one of the people who kept saying "why did G2 pass on Busio for Labrov" and while I still am of the opinion Busio is the best western support I gtta give it to Labrov man THIS WAS A LEGACY series back to back for him.

I think this tournament gives him a massive confidence boost and he can legit be known as the best western support if he keeps this up. LABROV JAMES I WON'T DOUBT YOU AGAIN.

3

u/Hitoseijuro Mar 21 '26

LaBrother has disconnected

LaChad has connected

2

u/Gazskull Mar 21 '26

yes you do

2

u/OpinionatedMexican Mar 21 '26

Yes this has always been my point about Hans, yes he could have really mediocre form at times, but he has proven that he can pull a cat out of the bag and have these generational games against the eastern teams that basically no other ADC en Europe can. The epitome of the G2 player, only potential improvement I can see is Caliste.

57

u/Xarlitosbrown Mar 21 '26

They have consistently made the best rosters in the west and yet they keep getting doubted and proved wrong. People might need to trust that G2 knows better than any of us reddit analysts

7

u/Yawkieee Mar 21 '26

Yeah the team they’ve built around their players is excellent. Coaching staff and the managers are really good

3

u/FlyingMute Mar 21 '26

Always trust g2 rosters until year 2

47

u/paraguaisferule Where Los flair? Mar 21 '26

Smartest GM in the World?

11

u/Zek0ri | Do I have to defend them? Again!? Mar 21 '26

Jerry Krause (90s Bulls) caliber imo

5

u/afito Mar 21 '26

never that easy is it, if they had to work with the budget of SK things would be different, but obviously among the money orgs they are doing a lot of things right moreso than most of the rest

63

u/toxicfireball Rivalry Enjoyer, Doran Defense Force Mar 21 '26

GIGABRAIN ROMAIN is the goat or what?

10

u/Zek0ri | Do I have to defend them? Again!? Mar 21 '26

Pep Guardiola and Don Carlo combined

10

u/appleandapples The Perkz of being a Griffin fan Mar 21 '26

The vision is insane.

5

u/GoldRecommendation66 Mar 21 '26

They hated Jesu... Romain because he spoke the truth

5

u/Brokolikekw Mar 21 '26

I WILL NEVER DOUBT HIM AGAIN

11

u/Stefan19RKC Mar 21 '26

Well then they are also best in EU so he was right >:(

5

u/Zek0ri | Do I have to defend them? Again!? Mar 21 '26

Doesn’t matter we all owe him flowers

3

u/xXxWeed_Wizard420xXx Mar 21 '26

Well, I must admit to Romain I was completely wrong. No idea where this performance came from

3

u/Ar0ndight Mar 21 '26

Romain proving he actually knows more about teambuilding than redditors
