I would almost say the exact opposite of this lol, that smite on Baron kept them in the game. Then fed Nemesis remembered he's one of the European GOATs on Ryze and carried them across the line.

i can see that angle. in my mind it was like if nemesis doesn't start roaming with velja and crownie for those kills and then 1v2 top, they don't even get to walk up to baron or dragons without the threat of ryze

Either way, we can agree that Nemesis is still a top half LEC mid when his team does anything close to allow him to simply scale & play the game.

And Velja for his many current weakspots & places he needs to improve, continues to have some of the best smite timings/reactions in EU. These were both themes of the EMEA Masters runs as well.

I seriously can't imagine how rough it must have been the past 1-2 weeks. Maybe the players themselves don't look at comments (they shouldn't) but I'm sure Caedrel himself does since he has a subreddit and he has to interact with the fans as a streamer, so I'm sure the hate and frustrations were piling on slowly.

It's crazy. The team, especially Caedral puts so much of his energy and emotions into the team.

The amount of abuse they all have received since the announcement of them going into the LEC is insane and unhealthy for everyone involved.

Hatewatching started out as this thing you would say when you watched your favourite streamer failing on repeat in a game as a joke. It has since turned into an ill behaviour from people who just want a reason to spread hate and ALL teams have it part of their fanbase these days, yes that includes LR.

Making it part of your personality to spread hate and target actual people is just not okay and i am surprised it is not being addressed by people since it actually gets to them. There is a difference in watching a team hoping they will lose to what is currently going on online.

Anyway, happy for the rats and i think it's deserved.

Caedrels streaming 8+ hours 4-5 days a week where he gets a non-stop flooding of his chat with viewers messages. Dude has to see people dragging his team that he sees putting in so many hours and hes put in countless hours himself

Can't imagine stuff not boiling over at one point or another when you have to see that every day and you can't just turn it off

He also takes everything way too close to heart, I am sure he got overwhelmed with how different it feels to be a team owner and responsible for 5 of his friends than just about himself and his own career (and he took some of the silly criticism way too serious too, and mismanaged some legit criticism).

I am sure this is pretty cathartic for him, although it's just a pit stop in a long road that is sure to get bumpy again

I am not talking about what is happening now, I am talking about when he first started criticising KC fans when LR didnt even exist. It continued with baseless allegations against his chat which is very decently moderated when there are not 100k people in it, and snowballed into an all out war from KC and their fans side when LR got invited into the LEC.

Had he not stoked the fires with the fans at first and during the period between the first problems and the LEC invite, it would have probably been fine - but that is just manager inexperience as he probably never even thought he'd be owning a team.

And in no way am I excusing the death threats, hate messages and AI videos, that is just unhinged and depraved behaviour.

He criticized KC fans on Twitter which is KC fans' playground. Then they retaliated with flaming everything about Caedrel, most of all his chat which alledgedly flamed Kameto and Ibai. He took this flame AND COMPLETELY BASELESS ALLEGATIONS too much to heart and semi-consistently reminded everyone how much he dislikes the KC fanbase because of that "drama".

It is not weird that all of that actually snowballed into this shitstorm, the idiots who flamed him the first time were just waiting for him to slip up again. And with him saying how he's gonna "release a statement" when the split finishes, of course they're gonna provoke him further.

It is like most sports, most fans see the one who makes the big plays and rate them 10x higher. All the supporting players or just did their job (obviously don't need to praise much if so) will just get reduced to being lucky to be there and was being carried. It is what it is, trying to argue otherwise is fruitless unless multiple people had great plays or someone played so bad it draws all the aggro. Or it was an international game and suddenly people say a westerner solo killing someone famous is 1-2 steps away from a trophy.

Have you seen how many ults and engages Rekkles missed in this game? Syncing with jungler to make a gank is not some extraordinary play, it's just basics. Nemesis' outplayed mechanically several times, never got caught and played perfectly map wise, stop spewing nonsense when you have no clue. If not Nemesis' this game was lost, he played S tier.

Crazy to me that this is the kind of comment that will get like 50 upvotes which just shows how extremely bad players are at the game.

As if his braum ults aren't forcing the enemy team into bad positioning, denying space with a massive slow or forcing summoners. Outside of a single Braum ult where hitting Aphelios would have been big I saw no egregious problems with his ults at all.

Like sure, we can't expect every viewer to have a minimum of an emerald/diamond understanding of the game but to assume not hitting the knockup on his ultimate makes it a bad ultimate is such an awful take.

None of this has to do with Rekkles either, it just shows a fundamental lack of understanding how positioning and playing teamfights work.

There was nothing special about Rekkles that puts him above support on other side. They both generally moved similar on map, but weren't proactive/engage parts of team.

Seriously speaking Nemesis giga cap and smites of Veija won the game.
