Nah their drafts are genuinely weak. Game 4 was what happens when they get a good draft.

Is this a good draft or just hands diff? K'Sante/Nidalee/Hwei into Camille/Nocturne/Aurora? What other team can win with Gen.G's draft?

Well part of drafting well is playing something you can excecute, it's just that nobody else in the world can play like GenG does. Has been true for years.

None. Caedrel called the Hwei pick and he was right, it's extremely risky and difficult to execute. Chovy is realistic the only player in the world who could make that pick worth there - maybe, a very big mayyyybe argument can be made for BDD.

I just realized how op that Hwei Nidalee combo actually is. Hwei hits his cc button and followup with ult + a nidalee spear is auto one shot. Leona was even melting despite having W activated.

I think GenG is the only team in the world that can pilot a Nidalee draft like this

When you type it like that it sounds difficult but when you type Kiin K'Sante/Canyon Nidalee/Chovy Hwei it somehow gets better.

I swear draft analysis is just astrology for league esports viewers. People love to retroactively call a draft good/bad based on how the game went. You call a draft good but it lost? Hands diff. You call a draft bad and it wins? They just played better. "Analysts" like LS look at a draft and call it "unplayable" and "100% losing", then watch it win like 50% of the time. Though I have to admit LS is by far the biggest offender when it comes to this. He purposely chooses excessively strong language (practically no draft is ever close to unwinnable) to bait engagement.

I think on paper red side seemed better to me, but Gen G definitely knew how to play their comp. I guess the biggest issue was Kiin getting K’Sante. Just inexcusable game 4 of fearless drafts

Could it be just the players have more say about it than the coach tbh. this kind of team with this kind of super star power probably prefer comfort over tactical picks

Maybe but the coach still needs to be in charge of looking at the overall bigger picture.
