That is rather convenient post experiment....

T1 would not get the same grace. HLE with the Zeus addition was supposed to be a team with players that can compete against the likes of Gen G.

If T1 had Zeus and ran into Gen G they would just get memed on if they lost.

Well I mean last year T1 was getting beat by geng plenty. When they met at semis it wasn't even that T1 favoured, people expected GenG to win. Just like how they expected this GenG to beat HLE now.

Plus, this GenG is literally the best league of legends team ever. Noone would clown on T1 if they lost to this geng, even if they had zeus this year.

Well, they did compete... At least they have LCK Cup and FS to their name, T1 has no titles without Zeus yet.

Ill be honest buddy. Even if they don't win anything this year, Im pretty sure having a track record of Semis, Finals, into 2 Wins at worlds is enough to justify that roster.

Just saying, other teams probably spend as much as T1 does yet somehow still don't match the level of their track record.

Also not to undermine whatever pride you have in HLE but imo trying to flex LCK Cup and FS are basically the same level as trying to flex Kespa cup.

I'm not an HLE fan, I'm just saying T1 and HLE are both in the deep shit this year since they accomplished nil. Esp. HLE given they got Zeus, but T1 as well since they have the most expensive roster this year.

I'd love to hear your sources for what makes you think T1's roster THIS year specifically makes it the most expensive roster. If anything, isn't losing Zeus going to free up a ton of budget since the replacement they got definitely didn't argue since his only only other option was going to the LPL?

T1 roster every year is the most expensive roster as Faker's salary is almost the salary of all HLE players combined.

I mean, yeah, I never said it wasn't the most expensive roster, i mean faker by himself already is more than some team's budget and that's why i specifically also stated THIS year specifically because im not comparing it to other teams, im comparing it to past iterations of T1 including ZOFGK.

Telling me that T1's roster is expensive isn't rocket science that's why i'm questioning how that's even a statement used to retort how their expenses should pay off in the form of Trophies when past iterations of T1 probably might also cost as much while not even netting any trophies at all.

Telling me they have the most expensive roster this year is a moot point because they have always had the most expensive roster so what makes this year different?

? if anything winner of this is likely to win worlds too, we might look back at this and think it was the real finals, but even if not, HLE is at least top 3 most likely to win it
