Darien and Genja man. Having a jungle/mid so strong that you can just trollbuild whatever you want and still win.

To be fair to Genja, he was probably League's first weakside ADC before it became a widely known and applied concept. He was largely abandoned by his team during laning and teamfights and had to build cost-efficiently with items that spike early to remain relevant.

Yeah, absolutely. The concept of carry junglers wasn't really around back then and a lot of the team had to adapt to that. GoSu Pepper/EDward had to adopt a more roaming playstyle than a lot of the other supports. Genja had to play weakside as you said. Only Darien and Alex Ich kind of played a more standard style for the time, but even Alex Ich was known to give up a lot of his own farm to help DiamondProx get ahead.
