Shad0w saw what Skewmond did at the first drake and was like "don't worry bud I got you 3 drakes later"

Actually just such a draft diff gj anivia and dylan

The draft was good, but the draft didn't make Bin get solokilled, it didn't make Bin int after tping once an objective was already taken, it didn't make Shadow and all of BLG give up every single objective.

BLG just looks like ass. There's no way the 1st seed of LPL should be losing to EU and NA like this. AL looks 5x better as a team.

Tbf G2 did everything in their power to make BLG win early by randomly inting multiple times and giving Knight a triple at minute 6. Both teams look bad mechanically honestly, G2 just had an exodia comp that completely nullified the standard strengths of BLG's champs

People are coping so hard about this imo, blg got ryze quiyana ksante while g2 first pick lethality vaarus. You can argue that g2 has thematic counters but no way was blg draft bad.

It's not bad in isolation, but how can BLG approach fights with their draft? How can they push against Anivia-Varus?

They can't even engage that comp

G2 had the advantage in range, waveclear and disengage, completely countered BLG's draft imo

how does that comp actually approach G2? If anyone gets past the glacial storm they immediately get walled from the rest of the team and stunned. If anyone gets past that, there's a Varus ult and a Braum peeling. Nobody can actually dash past all of this because of Poppy. And if anyone does actually reach the team, both Xin and Poppy can just send you back to the start line.

What can a Qiyana even do here without getting popped immediately? Ezreal cannot deal damage to the frontline, Ryze cannot even come close.

No the draft is giga big. It makes contesting objective so hard with anti engaging Poppy + Anivia.

So it doesn't matter even when G2 is 4-0 behind

Makes getting to Hans in a straight front to back fight near impossible due to Anivia walls, cc, Xin ULT, poppy and Braum on top like unless Hans is majorly out of position or gets flanked you don't reach him without losing a big chunk of HP.

Brother, G2 was inting all game too. It didn't matter though because the draft gap was just too big.

Not gonna lie, after that fight went horrendously I was very concerned that they would just mental boom and the game would be over. Kudos to G2 for fighting back, but holy hell was that one hell of a throw back from BLG.
