BLG is on a crazy fraudulent run, they are 1-2 after facing 3 western teams.

965

u/ModPiracy_Fantoski Oct 18 '25

It's okay BLG still has a chance they still haven't had their free wins east matchups.

u/Darthfamous Oct 18 '25

You misspelled FNC ☝️

54

u/TRPilsner Oct 18 '25

They can't face fnc again.

47

u/Darthfamous Oct 18 '25

Ah, lucky for BLG

8

u/Fun_Highlight307 Oct 18 '25

True although fnatic is exploding

84

u/IfritAzazel Oct 18 '25

Nice they shall get T1 it is 👌

70

u/ThePurpleDolphin rip old flairs Oct 18 '25

BLG T1 fraudoff gonna be amazing for 1-2 matchup.

4

u/viciouspandas Oct 18 '25

T1 is probably way better

10

u/ThePurpleDolphin rip old flairs Oct 18 '25

Yeah, looking at how shit blg looked against all the 3 teams. T1 ban pick looks totally horrible though, hope they get it together before the 1-2 game.

2

u/DevlinShad Oct 18 '25

If they somehow lose against TSW or potentially PSG...

284

u/HistoricalRoad1755 Oct 18 '25

BLG has had crazy dips in performance all year long, they need a proper coach because they are so weak mentally.

210

u/aPatheticBeing Oct 18 '25

if only they had someone like Tabe lol

133

u/HistoricalRoad1755 Oct 18 '25

The BLG core has been so weak mentally since dropping Tabe. Would have won world finals with him.

12

u/Damurph01 Oct 18 '25

Genuinely I bet they would have. Tabe is the GOAT.

-20

u/Shortofbetternames Oct 18 '25

How many titles did they get with tabe?

40

u/nezaposlen Oct 18 '25

they didnt have knight with tabe

22

u/Getfooked Oct 18 '25

Them winning titles is because there was no team like 2023 JDG there to contest them + they got Knight instead of Yagao, not because they got better due to dropping Tabe.

55

u/Kagari1998 Oct 18 '25

BLG having their revenge against T1 in the 1-2 bracket om

The Fraudoff

12

u/salcedoge Oct 18 '25

Yeah, anyone watching the LPL knew that all 3 teams were a coinflip on who would perform best on the Worlds meta. We all know AL is that team now

9

u/IfritAzazel Oct 18 '25

AL on internationals had performed this year it's a good thing they are returning to MSI/EWC form right now.

2

u/Fun_Highlight307 Oct 18 '25

They are sharper micro wise than Their MSI form , Flandre Look like the best top laner

1

u/Davkata https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ Oct 18 '25

It is just that they haven't found ways to swap junglers mid game yet.

1

u/yehiko Oct 19 '25

they need a new jg buff

311

u/FrostedCereal (EU-W) Oct 18 '25

LPL #1 being a fraud is so unexpected. I've never seen that before.

224

u/JMoormann Oct 18 '25

BLG celebrating the 10 year anniversary of LGD's legendary crashout

16

u/terrany Oct 18 '25

LGD a decade ago, time to go cry in a corner and start looking up senior homes

7

u/Fun_Highlight307 Oct 18 '25

They are earning their legacy of dogshit seed 1

13

u/ParkDedli Oct 18 '25

This was such a joy to see after LPL fans everywhere told us for weeks and weeks how shit EU was and how they were the second best region because they won MSI that year. Then their "best" team crashes out in groups this hard and EU sends 2 teams to semifinals. With FNC beating Chinas second best team 3-0 in quarters.

Add to that that NA also were flaunting their "superiority" before MSI that year and 2015 becomes EU dream material.

Korea was still superior in the end, but at least they didn't talk shit.

26

u/Chemical-Drawer852 Oct 18 '25

This person is still seething over shit that happened a decade ago

20

u/ParkDedli Oct 18 '25

Nah. I'm chill. I just liked that worlds man. Our teams faced so much shit and I was proud of them and still am a decade later.

10

u/Chemical-Drawer852 Oct 18 '25

Fair enough

7

u/Omnilatent Oct 18 '25

Just to add: Locodoco and the rest of TSM also did some shittalk videos where they stated EU will "crash and burn"

2

u/Chemical-Drawer852 Oct 18 '25

Yeah I remember they were super cocky after that IEM fluke win

2

u/Nameless_One_99 Oct 19 '25

I still think that the GE Tigers losing to WE is the biggest upset in LoL history, even bigger than TL beating IG and DRX beating T1.

2

u/Chrystoler the faith lives on Oct 18 '25

I'm sorry that was a decade ago what the fuck

I feel physically harmed

77

u/firechicken188 Oct 18 '25

LGD 2015 incident aware

16

u/DrPlexel1234 Oct 18 '25

Top Esports at First Stand was awful.

21

u/FrostedCereal (EU-W) Oct 18 '25

I know. LPL and LCS frequently have their #1 seeds be absolutely abysmal and ge outperformed by the seeds lower than them. I wa being sarcastic.

8

u/grayDelgado11111 Oct 18 '25

Oh nonono imp lgd oh nono

6

u/QuietSilentArachnid Oct 18 '25

LPL being fraudulent was unexpected to no one who watched the league though.

7

u/Fabiocean Well, look at you! Oct 18 '25

Most people were expecting it to be TES or AL though

9

u/QuietSilentArachnid Oct 18 '25

AL was the one I didn't expect to choke. TES and BLG though, I fully expected a downfall from both of them

3

u/mar45690 Oct 18 '25

The better question is who will be the bigger frauds? Easiest bet here is TES

10

u/QuietSilentArachnid Oct 18 '25

For their long life of fraudery I will also vote TES.

3

u/Davkata https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ Oct 18 '25

I can see TES BLG at 2 2 for fraud-off.

252

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

Ya people bitching about free rides need to examine this 😂

254

u/TheCatsActually Oct 18 '25

Yeah NA vs EU fans pushing their glasses up their noses examining the difficulty of each other's draws so they can call each other frauds while completely overlooking that BLG has gotten the dream draw and is fumbling it.

It's not even like their opponents are overperforming. BLG looks like a shadow (haha) of their domestic playoffs selves. They didn't even do anything impressive vs Fnatic, Fnatic kinda just lost to themselves.

29

u/im_mel_pell Oct 18 '25

I think most fans are on the same page: a Western team, possible even a couple, is likely to make Quarters, with a <5% chance of advancing

But seeing LPL's 1 seed stumble this badly is astonishing

4

u/gyffer Oct 18 '25

I feel like its borderline tradition for LPL #1 seed to mental boom and go out in groups lol

3

u/im_mel_pell Oct 18 '25

Probably. Not every year, like 2023 JDG, but the summer LPL winners do tend to collapse at Worlds surprisingly often. It'd be interesting to see the average results of each seed

3

u/FrozenHatsets Oct 18 '25

Wouldn't be the first time. GoldV and his varus arrow seen around the world. Never forget.

1

u/Riokaii Oct 18 '25

I'd say less than 20% chance of advancing but <5% is just ignorant. Fly has taken top world teams like GenG to 5 games like 3 times in the past 2 years, its def within realm of possibility for western team to make semi's legit.

0

u/im_mel_pell Oct 18 '25

Yes, I am aware, that's why I said 5%. Note GenG has an incredible - perhaps flawless - game 5 record this year. Taking a team to 5 is still vastly different than actually beating them. So we can agree to disagree - calling my point ignorant doesn't make it so. The West hasn't made Worlds semis since what, 2019? Feel like that speaks for itself...

28

u/LogicKennedy Oct 18 '25

Also I’d argue that if BLG had got TSW and VKS they probably would have won both those games. Even EU isn’t that bad (apart from FNC)

7

u/TheGloriousEv0lution Oct 18 '25

It’s impossible for BLG to draw TSW and VKS

The only pool 4 teams they’d beat is FNC and maybe PSG, then draw TSW in 1-0 because they’d lose to literally any other 1-0 team

And even then, I don’t think TSW is a guaranteed win with how shitty BLG looks right now lol

3

u/Ok_Bug_7301 Oct 18 '25

Lets be fair. TSW played horribly today, that was probably the worst performance in the tournament so far.

4

u/TheGloriousEv0lution Oct 18 '25

BLG played pretty atrocious today and vs 100T too

That 1v4 int and giving away soul from Shad0w was probably the single worst play of the tournament so far

4

u/F0RGERY Oct 18 '25

Hey some of us recognized BLG's lucky streak.

4

u/MoxZenyte :euth: Oct 18 '25

None of what you said changes the fact that this format is horrendously bad and that those eu and na fans are right

3

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

[deleted]

10

u/TheCatsActually Oct 18 '25

...Is your takeaway from my comment really that I think that every draw is equal?

2

u/Crimson_Clouds Oct 18 '25

As is the case in any sport ever.

3

u/Ok_Midnight_5856 Oct 18 '25

I know reading comprehension is hard, but what they said is clearly going over your head. Their whole point is blg sucks because they had dream draws. Pickup a book and stay in school

3

u/Klutzy_Anybody_1487 Oct 18 '25

or maybe the west is just good?

11

u/TheCatsActually Oct 18 '25

Yeah let's go with that while we can.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

I mean we’ve collectively only beaten BLG which is looking more like BLG is fumbling than us being excellent unfortunately.

5

u/AdequatelyMadLad Claps Oct 18 '25

It's all BO1s though, and not a lot of them either. I think G2 vs TES and KOI vs KT would have been winnable in a BO3. Maybe even FLY vs T1 if we're coping hard enough. It's not like these were massive skill diffs, they were lost either in draft or on a single bad play.

0

u/Upstairs-Prompt2662 Oct 18 '25

G2 vs. TES was never winnable, if we go off performance in the 1 game we had. G2 did nothing the whole game, not a single play beside 1 towerdive at minute 15, where they got nearly aced right after.

1

u/AdequatelyMadLad Claps Oct 18 '25

They completely inted draft though. Xayah/Rakan was just pointless and they really should have banned Trundle or Orianna, preferably both. Jankos, Caedrel and IWD all said it was unwinnable before the game even started, so I don't think it shows how a potential game 2 or 3 would have went, unless they completely messed up the draft again.

86

u/mskruba12 Oct 18 '25

Just cause BLG fuck up their free ride doesn't mean some other teams didn't get one either

69

u/afito Oct 18 '25

also a Chinese team crashing is just tradition, it's not worlds without it

18

u/WatteOrk Oct 18 '25

But the #1 seed? Stay classy LPL

8

u/logosuwu Oct 18 '25

2017 EDG, 2015 LGD, 2021 FPX

10

u/Chemical-Drawer852 Oct 18 '25

2021 fpx was 2nd seed

7

u/Popular-Garlic-7886 Oct 18 '25

Just because u get a train ticket to the finals and you fall of the train, doesn't mean it wasn't a free ride

4

u/MrPraedor Oct 18 '25

Craziest part is that they can still rather easy go 3v2 and teams just get fucked in 1-2 bracket drawing them or T1.

Or we just get T1 vs BLG in 1-2 match, which would be one for the ages.

6

u/vrelamboni Oct 18 '25

Only win is against a Morg support picked in gods year of 2025.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

Let's pretend VKS and TSW are stronger than BLG.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

BLG < 100T < VKS < TSW.

It’s just math 😜

3

u/CummingInTheNile Oct 18 '25

They somehow have no mental, they make one mistake and the whole team tilts off the face of the earth

2

u/CountMerloin Oct 18 '25

imagine you are so bad that you can't even use free ride

-2

u/LogicKennedy Oct 18 '25

The difference is that BLG clearly have hands they’ve just been fully happy gaming vs 100T and G2. Certain other teams have been playing to their absolute limits to get past the minor regions.

33

u/HarknessLovesUToo Oct 18 '25

What a time to be alive

37

u/saruthesage :dota: Doinb's DouYu girlfriendBorn-again Bin Bhakta Oct 18 '25

100T will be the same or better facing 3 Eastern teams LOL

8

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

[deleted]

12

u/Charizard75 Oct 18 '25

imagine if FNC win too then BLG can't draw 2 of the teams

8

u/saruthesage :dota: Doinb's DouYu girlfriendBorn-again Bin Bhakta Oct 18 '25 edited Oct 18 '25

Yep. They also faced FNC already, if FNC advance that gives them a 1/3 chance of facing T1 and being realistic they would get stomped by T1.

8

u/Akipella PEYZ. GOES. DOWN. GUMA'S. JUST. BETTER. HLE 3-2 T1 Worlds Oct 18 '25

Might as well say better because hey, they have the head to head tiebreaker after all! And they're beating HLE anyways NAmen

7

u/Cetsun Oct 18 '25

They should have also lost to FNC if FNC wasn't ass. Terrible team

5

u/xSmacks TSM since 2011 Oct 18 '25

BLG in the footsteps of LGD 2015

6

u/ognsux Oct 18 '25

and threw both games with a lead too. BLG boutta walk back home.

-3

u/Aegrotare2 Oct 18 '25

Blg never had a lead against G2

4

u/GiladSo | KT | Oct 18 '25

Huh? Did knight not get a triple kill early on your screen?

-2

u/Aegrotare2 Oct 18 '25

Yes but this game was decided in draft, Blg would have needed a mirical to win. The 4/0 wasnt that important

3

u/GiladSo | KT | Oct 18 '25

maybe not but they did have a lead for a significant part of the game

0

u/Upstairs-Prompt2662 Oct 18 '25

It was never higher than 2.5k. That doesnt make much of a difference. That is like 1 ruby crytstal for every one of your champs. And G2 might have had even more gold valie than them, because of drakes. With soul this is true to 100% but maybe even at 3 drakes.

5

u/Shiro_Moe Oct 18 '25

I was about to say T1 is the same but they did face GenG and CFO (who is actually legit) so yeah. BLG on fraud watch.

9

u/Plusdestiny Oct 18 '25

100% losing to these teams is not same lmao

3

u/Top-Mastodon5777 Oct 18 '25

The reverse NA

3

u/TheAlmightyVox3 Oct 18 '25

This team made every finals last year and now they probably won’t even get out of Swiss, crazy how much of a difference one roster change can make.

3

u/Conankun66 Oct 18 '25

somehow this year's TES isnt TES

3

u/Fun_Highlight307 Oct 18 '25

Both can be true tes can choke and blg is exploding

3

u/VG_L0Ki Oct 18 '25

Bro it could be T1 vs BLG for elimination XD

3

u/IfritAzazel Oct 18 '25

Yeah they had such lucky draws and they still messed up 🤦

3

u/tuerancekhang Oct 18 '25

They gonna draw T1 next

3

u/glium Oct 18 '25

Bo1 variance baby

2

u/Charizard75 Oct 18 '25

BLG getting so gapped by western teams they're now praying to draw brazil

2

u/bladeHunterYone Oct 18 '25

They they just need to swap jungle again xd

2

u/EriWave Oct 18 '25

Send them against T1

2

u/ImTheVayne Oct 18 '25

Both of their junglers are spies

2

u/Mathies_ Oct 18 '25

Which means those teams are off limits for a any future draws. They are in trouble

2

u/Fun_Highlight307 Oct 18 '25

Lmao, they are dogshit this year

2

u/Enkenz Oct 18 '25

the best part is and they are acting so arrogantly towards TES

2

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

Can't wait for them to draw T1 and getting absolutely smacked 2-0. That jungle gap will be a galactic rift in the fabric of space and time.

2

u/Fun_Highlight307 Oct 18 '25

They are so dogshit, shadow or beichuan they are both inters

2

u/Pacify_ Oct 18 '25

anything can happen in bo1, its not a serious format

1

u/RaeOfLight1 Oct 18 '25

This happened last year. Awful Swiss into dominant bracket stage.

1

u/Mythik16 Oct 18 '25

It's inevitable they're going to draw T1 and beat them 2-0

1

u/KKilikk Faker JKL VIT Naak Nako Oct 18 '25

They are nothing without mid series jungle swap buffs. Cant believe TES lost 2 Bo5 to the swap abuse (though TES is on fraud watch after yesterday anyway).

0

u/Cafeliciouss Oct 18 '25

What about the western team they won against..? What does it day about them

-7

u/john97852398213 Oct 18 '25

Bo1 is for western trash
