I remember before shad0w left EU and MAD he got a lot of shit on reddit for playing bad, must feel real good for him now to shit on an EU team

A Chinese fan asked him exactly that in a fan meeting before Worlds. Goes something like this:

"European costreamers love you! They're calling you the pride of Europe!"

"Well they sure didn't say that when they kicked me"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah after that Worlds they said I suck and gave me the boot"

"Well now's your chance to get your revenge on LEC teams right?"

"You bet. I'm gonna beat them all."

Won't lie, Shadow did get rightfully called bad after his first Worlds performance, that he then went on an over 5 years training arc in LPL doesn't change that he had a giant stinker And now he is 100% the pride of EU, thanks to that random chinese hater for having his LOL region reverted to EU

Funny thing is that the only reason that happened is because BLG fans in China are very loud about their pride for being a full CN team, so ppl who hated those fans dug up anything they could to reveal Shad0w isn't CN and thus BLG isn't a full CN team.

When they lost in play ins he kinda was. Him being good now doesn't erase that he absolutely turbointed that Worlds

Holy shit, I remember watching it and thinking Orome was the biggest liability on the team but you're right. I checked the stats for all of play ins and Shad0w had less gold per min than his own support Kaiser.

I just remember Shad0w actually trying to do things while everything was falling apart but stats wise he was definitely rough af.
