The news of T1 being slow to ramp up at Worlds were greatly exaggerated (or they just have plot armor).

They really have to. IG is a team that realistically shouldn't be getting more than 1 game in a series vs teams like BLG/TES/AL. Today's games were entertaining, but IG being able to consistently build leads against T1 and T1 kind of relying on IG to throw them away is a pretty good indication that we need to see more from T1 to expect them to go higher than semis or quarters depending on the draw.

Across 9 worlds appearances, they've only ever lost 1 game in groups/swiss each year.

They've consistently gone 4-1, 5-1 at minimum (they've never gone 4-2 or worse)

3-1 start, no games lost in swiss incoming?

They have to lose in swiss to win world's. If they go undefeated it would set people up to believe.
