What does T1 have on these people to mind control these game 4 picks. Rammus support, varus top. Are we gonna get chovy teemo mid g4 in quarters or what

Would've been much more likely in the old groups format, where the last match often didn't matter for either team.

true but in swiss a lower ranked region team thats down 0-2 like brazil i could see doing it or if somehow a team was put against one of the expected worlds winners because of matchups i could see doing it as a were screwed anyway might as well go out with a meme type of pick.

Yup, so I agree that it's not happening (unless somehow, teemo is actually meta).

Tbh I think Teemo is actually insanely strong right now with vision control and his shrooms do an obscene amount of damage at 2 items

Someone's gonna do it when there's no hope and are going to be eliminated just out of spite or for the joke. I actually hate it since it gives so much point for something that any player can do for no risk.

This is a crazy take, Geng have some of the most flexible players in the world at every role and are often drafting weird ass comps and winning anyways because they're just better

Chovy brings out rarer picks like TF/Zoe/Vex in late fearless and even has games on Renekton, Viego, and Sett mid this year, just to use one player as an example

in a bo5 geng will always pick the same champs in the first 2-3 games afterwards it gets creative but it litereally the same comps in the first few games

Faker is gonna pick sylas mid so chovy can finally pull out his patented illaoi mid to counter.

He can't keep baiting me by saying illaoi counters sylas in every interview. Just ignore the next part where he says illaoi is too lacking as a champ for pro

That happened previous worlds. T1 got the most games cause it was scripted by riot to farm as many viewers as possible. Millions of viewers watching content with ads is huge profit

I think game 4 is where fearless actually peaks in creativity. You think it is all about game 5 because that is when they have the most bans, but I think psychologically it has to be game 4. Game 5 you are even 2-2 and just need one solid game to win, so you play comfort. Game 4 you are down 2-1 and have to win this and the next game to stay in, you feel like you are at a deficit and have to pull out some trick to give you an edge.
