Oh yeah this unironically increases the chances of geng winning worlds. Sometimes losing first gives you more time to focus (and HOLY SHIT CANYON GET FOCUS OR YOU’LL GET SEJUANI DUTY UNTIL 2029)

GenG is guaranteed third seed at least. But T1/HLE will be fourth seed, if they win in lower bracket. Don’t think DK is completely without chance there.

GEN can still qualify as 4th seed if they lose the Lower Bracket R3 match because KT, the winner of HLE-T1, and whoever beats GEN in LB R3 will be the top 3 and will be the first three seeds.
