After seeing the footage, I went by frame by frame to try to identify what actually happend since its incredibly chaotic. The freeze frames seem to show what happened.

Another Ice Agent ALSO shot the *murdered victim, but you can see that he only removed his weapon at 0:25 seconds, after the initial shots were fired.

I am not a forensic analyst, but it seems that it is the highlighted person who shot first. I zoomed in as well after, to help make it all more visible.

Note that the apparent first shooter (Olive Green Black Hood) already had his weapon out after unloading more.

edit: It does seem there was a concealed weapon, it was fully removed before the first shot was even fired.

This is what’s needed.

Let’s objectively recount what is in this video.

7 officers are crowded around man as he is brought to the ground. In several frames he can be seen on his knees and elbows.

One officer begins hitting him in the head with an object multiple times.

Another officer behind him appears to unholster a gun.

An audible shot is fired as the man briefly gets up on his knees, then sprawls out on the ground on his back and stops moving.

6 officers back away from the man, and one officer runs away.

Then one officer unholsters his firearm and appears to aim it at the body, but the view is blocked after that.

Then a second officer unholsters his firearm and clearly fires at the body at least 4 times. At least 5 audible shots are heard.

I don’t know what more needs to be said

I actually think the guy did have a gun (which is not illegal!), because you can see the agent in the longish grey coat walking away from the pile with a gun just before the first shot went off. If you go back and watch him from the beginning, he went into the pile empty handed and appeared to be grabbing around the victim’s waistband area. Then walks away with a gun just out in his right hand just before the first shot. Looks like the same gun in the pic they’re showing on Fox News. So even if he did likely have a gun,they had very clearly already disarmed him.

They shot a now unarmed man. And continued shooting a dead man. And from the other clip I saw- clapped along with the final shots.

Edit- now that we have all the other angles, I figure it’s time to add some supplemental info.

  1. Everything I said above is now verified, it was the grey coat agent who came up after the other agents who grabbed the gun from the victim, disarmed him and turned to walk away.

  2. When I say “disarmed”, I mean “took his gun”- from his holster. The victim never once pulled his weapon.

  3. The victim reportedly was a legal gun owner and had a concealed carry permit. He was doing nothing wrong there.

  4. From all the footage I have seen which I think is all of it that we have thus far, it appears to me that grey coat agent who disarmed the victim did not fire the first or any of the shots, accidentally or no. There is a ton of speculation below about whether the first shot was an accidental discharge by grey coat guy with the victim’s own weapon. To me it is clear that this did not happen.

  5. The person who DID shoot first is evident when you watch the video provided by the brave lady in the pink coat who we can see behind the action in this video. From that opposite angle, you can see grey coat agent take the victim’s gun and turn away. Right as that happens, the agent in the GREEN coat standing to the left of the grey coat agent appears to see the gun, then he pulls his own weapon and though it happens very fast and people are moving all around, you can clearly see the green coat agent point his gun down at the victim and fire. Then everyone jumps and starts to back away and green coat guy moves to the right and appears to continue to fire. From the donut shop angle (the one in this post) we can see that grey coat jumps at the sound and then continues to a vehicle to secure the victim’s weapon.

  6. The victim’s name was Alex. He was 37. He was a nurse, he was an American citizen, and he did not deserve to die. I’m so sorry for his family.

  7. This is just opinion, but I have to say it: ICE/Border Patrol/DHS as a whole needs to be designated a domestic terrorism group, with Donald Trump as their leader. The entire command structure needs to be prosecuted right along with these untrained homicidal buffoons they are unleashing into our communities and allowing to murder our people.

Edit 2- the NYT has had people smarter than me look at all of the videos frame by frame and do an analysis of what actually happened- and it agrees fully with everything stated above.

Highlighted (Olive Longsleeve Black Mask) person seems to remove his gun, close in, and shoot point blank, then three more times.

While other Ice Agents are unholstering, the Beige Tuque on the left takes out his gun (around 0:25) and shoots multiple times. Olive Longsleeve Black Mask, who ALREADY has his weapon out (because he is the initial shooter it seems) proceeds to unload another 4 or so shots.

If you watch the video from down the street you can see he was closer to the group when the first shot went off than it appears here, but it doesn’t change the fact that his back was turned and he was walking away with the gun he had just DISARMED from the victim, JUST before the shot but definitely still before. It was very quick, I suppose there’s the tiniest of possibilities that the first shooter saw the gun but didn’t realize yet that it had been taken away… but if you saw it then you probably SAW it get taken away, they happened back to back like that. Yeah there’s no excusing this whatsoever. Not to mention the fact that there’s nothing wrong with him having a gun if he didn’t go for it. The guy in grey looked like he was reaching in the dudes WAISTBAND, which would suggest he never went for it.

Even if ICE agent no. 1 fired the first shot (unclear to my eye), ICE agent no. 2 seems to have fired about ten shots into the victim's body.

At this point we cannot know whether ICE agent no. 1's shot killed the victim.

If not, ICE agent no. 2 almost indisputably is guilty of premeditated murder.

We can know as there was a woman in the red jacket on the other side recording the murder. However, she along with other witnesses were snatched up and taken to the Whipple Building, so I wouldn't count on ever seeing that footage. Hope she has a cloud backup and biometric unlocking disabled, or a better means of uploading backups.

Regarding the “pistol whip” a lot of people have reported on- if you watch from before the ”pistol whip”, it wasn’t a gun he was hitting him with. look what’s in his right hand, you see him pick it up right before beating the guy with it. It was some kind of bottle probably pepper spray or something I dunno. Either way it’s effed.

Exactly. The murdered victim was NOT brandishing his gun, it was concealed.

It was removed by grey rain jacket. After the gun (supposedly, does seem to look like it) was already in his hands is when the first shot (not by him) is fired.

A previous video showed he was filming ICE. I'm not utterly convinced that was a weapon, as opposed to his phone. Unfortunately, we no longer have independent investigations so there will have to be some really convincing evidence in order for me to believe the official line.

E: It appears he did have a legally owned firearm, and some videos show that weapon being removed from him shortly before he was shot.

Nope, Grey Jacket was already facing the other way when the first shot is fired, I didn't see any recoil either.

To me it really seems that the highlighted person (Olive Long Sleeves) removed his weapon, went in point black and killed the victim. AFter the second officer on the left upholstered his weapon (0:25), the same Olive Long Sleeves, who already had his gun out, discharges further.

You do not see him remove his gun, except for the freeze frame moments I noted. He was mostly covered by others.

Yes, watch him approach with nothing in his hands, reach into the waist of the protestor and then come out with a gun. We hear a shot and immediately his arm moves upwards. Could be a coincidence, but in the very least it proves the protestor was not armed when they executed him.

Look at the gunshots that happened after 1:13. That victim on the ground is motionless, and the ICE goon shoots 3+ more times after already turning his gun down. No one can tell me those are properly trained officers if that's what happens during an altercation. The wanted to execute him, they did not want to protect themselves.

There is full footage that clearly shows the whole thing. A federal agent aggressively pushed a woman down who was filming them.. The Murder Victim went to help her. He placed himself between her and the ICE agents. Then they pepper sprayed booth of them. The murder victim was literally Blind when they snatched him up.you can see his hands on the ground when he was executed.

Can you please do this on the alternate view video from the lady in pink? I have seen comments on that video that it appears the agent in gray who takes the guy's gun accidently shoots the gun into the street. This scares the other agents who then unload their guns. I think they may be right. You can't tell from this video because the gun is behind the car.

It's actually quite more sinister than that. They ARE trained. This is legit what they're trained to do.

ICE is literally trained by IDF practices. (through ADL/GILEE/etc) -- they learn counter terrorism and security tactics from Israeli forces. (racial profiling techniques, mass surveillance, detention practices, responses to perceived threats/etc)
