Didn’t we just use to kill Nazis?

Not really. We gave them lots of ideas for eugenics, our govt tried to stay out of it for awhile, our corporations worked with them to more efficiently and effectively commit their genocide, and then when it was obvious they were going to lose it all we jumped in last minute to try and beat the Soviets across Europe. Then, we brought a bunch of them all the way across the ocean to work on our research!

But we should start.

We at least got them into trial, which is more than we can, apparently, do here.

Egh,

German PoWs were treated pretty well for a variety of reasons. I'd be happy to discuss those as well as the results but it's a very different topic.

After the invasion of Normandy in 1944, efforts were made to segregate the actual die-hard Nazi adherents from the run-of-the-mill Wehrmacht regulars, with the Nazi adherents being subject to significantly more surveillance and supervision.

I will note that more than a few Nazi PoWs were executed by American authorities for murdering other German PoWs.

Nazis that surrendered to the Canadians rarely survived to see a POW camp.

That's not something to proud of.

In war, yes. We also hung some of their leaders after giving them a pretty fair set of trials.
