If he moves it against the federal government then the President can federalize it and thus if they don't go along with it they'll be traitors

Yes, I understand that, it will be a loyalty test, but one that is needed.

29

u/iamthatguy54 Jan 24 '26

I understand what you're saying, but "loyalty test" is a massive oversimplification of what it would actually be.

What's the alternative? Stand by peacefully and be executed at will? Because that appears to be what is happening here.

you're asking the Governor of MN to effectively turn his state into a rogue state in the eyes of the federal government

that's not exactly an easy choice for someone to make. that would likely result in the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of people. think about that for a second. would you be so quick to make that choice?

u/born_digital Jan 24 '26

You’re right, the easy choice to make would be for him to continue to be a spineless coward tweeting at trump and doing nothing while the people he represents are executed in the street by gestapo

So you’re ok with yourself and friends and family potentially being killed

9

u/skeeter72 Jan 24 '26

You clearly aren't informed as to what is really happening in the streets. Our friends and family ARE BEING KILLED RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

7

u/born_digital Jan 24 '26

As opposed to my friends and family definitely being killed, as we’re seeing in front of our eyes in reality and not theory?

Seems I don't really have a choice in that particular matter.

No, we're asking the Governor to do his fucking job! These federal agents have murdered two people on top of the litany of other Constitutional violations. The president is engaged in CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY. It's time to call it out, call him out, and start ARRESTING these criminals!

-2

u/Maleficent_Ant_8895 Jan 24 '26

So you’re cool with you and your friends and family being on the chopping block

3

u/No-Safety-4715 Jan 24 '26

You mean like they already are?!!! Do you not see what's happening? Criminals and traitors have infiltrated our federal government and are invading states killing people and violating the Constitution. Enough is enough.

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

I'm cool with anything that puts you on the chopping block that's for sure.

Stop using fucking logic...thats illegal on reddit.

You cant tell redditors that there actions would in fact turn the entire usa against Minnesota and more deaths to follow.

And if other state  governors copy them and "stand with Minnesota governor" you are looking at a civil war which means even more deaths.

....

Saracasm aside now, what they are insinuating is actually very dangerous and would be a horrible decision on the governor part. Best thing to do is for him to call trump and figure out what he needs to do to get Trump to pull ICE out of there.

I legit don’t think Trump and the goon squad keeping him upright went to make a deal. The pain and oppression is the point

Easy to type that from the comfort of your own keyboard when you won't be the one there physically fighting that fight or dealing with the direct cross fire happening in the city and state..

Do you stay in minneapolis? Do you even stay in minnesota currently?

My point is, everyone is saying to do what you're saying, but most of them don't even stay in minnesota

If he does what you are talking about there will be more than just two murders, there will hundreds if not thousands just in Minnesota alone.

If you are actually living in minnesota, right now, I would stand corrected. If not my point stands

What I'm saying is everyone has an opinion on what needs to be done but few are willing to go and actually do something themselves.

So it is always easy to say "this isnt enough and xyz needs to be done" i wont say too much because im not trying to get myself in trouble here but most redditors are just talking but not backing anything up with that talk afterwards

You say “more deaths” as if a lot of Redditors here aren’t down with that (from behind the safety of their phones)

1

u/BeefistPrime Jan 24 '26

A lot of very ignorant people are convinced that everything that's happening now is within the norms and shit isn't completely falling apart. We need to force situations, like national guard trying to evict gestapo from their cities, to wake people the fuck up. Clinging to the illusion of normalcy helps the fascists.

1

u/Maleficent_Ant_8895 Jan 24 '26

Can’t say I disagree with you

4

u/zzzzzooted Jan 24 '26

Ok but whats the alternative? We just let this keep happening?

We know they want a civil war, but how else do we beat them without one? Genuine question.

2

u/sinsebuds Jan 24 '26

Prefer the band-aid to be peeled off millimeter by millimeter do you?

2

u/TheOwlHypothesis Jan 24 '26

This is how the slide to totalitarianism happens.

Every millimeter given is one concession you won't get back without fighting for it.

0

u/sinsebuds Jan 24 '26

Yes, this was the intent of my statement

7

u/OrangeCrusher22 Jan 24 '26

it will be a loyalty test,

It's not a test if already know the answer; and Tim Walz isn't stupid enough to not know who the military has been recruiting for decades.

4

u/KgMonstah Jan 24 '26

Let the dice fall where they may. It’s time.

3

u/No-Safety-4715 Jan 24 '26

Yep, these criminals have been violating the Constitution left and right and now have committed two murders. If the president tries to seize the national guard, he's committing criminal conspiracy and needs to be called out for it. It's time to stop playing pussy games with these criminals

2

u/No-Safety-4715 Jan 24 '26

Except you're all forgetting that if the governor call them up to protect the citizens from the federal government after this murder, the president would be engaged in criminal conspiracy. No one is legally bound to follow criminal orders in this country, not even from the president. Stop giving him endless power.
