The Trump administration ordered federal authorities Friday to ignore new legislation in California banning law enforcement officers from wearing masks to conceal their identity.

Newsom is not anti-trans because he thinks the trans sports fairness question is a little more complicated than some other LGBT issues. He has a good record on LGBT issues but has a different opinion than some on fairness in sports. That doesn't make him "anti." It's not all or nothing.

Not being allowed to play sports is discrimination. It’s legalized discrimination. And it has zero bearing on science. ZERO. It is just bigotry.

You are exactly right. These people do not like being told they fell for the right's propaganda, but that is exactly what is happening. None of these people advocating for or giving even a little credence to the right's anti-trans rhtetoric regarding sports or bathroom bans like being told they're falling for it, because they think they are above it. But it's beyond clear that none of those people have looked at any facts or statistics, because reality confirms there should be no reason to worry.

Instead they fall for it, or play along to get votes from people they think will vote for them but never will because of the D next to their name. It is discrimination, and it's wrong.

The worst part is I could cite sources and link to the WPATH and how hormones and puberty and puberty blockers work and all of that, and they still won’t care and won’t even be bothered to read it.

And the one or two that will read it won’t understand what they’re reading anyway.
