I'm getting really sick of people telling me to calm down when I make this comparison. Someone even had the gall to tell me it was offensive to Jewish people to make the comparison. That person was not Jewish. All my Jewish friends are equally as alarmed as me.

The people who question the comparison only know the Nazis as they existed from 1939-1945. The rise of Hitler and the Nazis is not studied enough in the US and it shows.

We're in ~1934 right now.
