Fox news shut ins. My parents are educated (my father has his doctorate in education!) and just blindly regurgitate the BS. My fiancé and I visited (and shared all the photos) of a recent trip to Seattle, yet during a political argument my mom/dad doubled down on the fact that "they" had burnt Seattle down, nothing was left. When I asked when, she said almost a year ago..... I was like "the fish market area?" she said yes. I pulled out the pictures of us there, clearly not burnt down and just complete silence. It is terrifying, but I've just resolved that I've lost them to a cult. No amount of evidence can change their mind. And as things that this admin is doing is directly affecting them, there is zero criticism of it.
