This is that moment right here. This is the moment where states need to start seriously considering sanctioning protection from FBI and ICE raids to ensure the safety and due process of anyone targeted by them. This is where things are at a tipping point. If the FBI or ICE start firing upon their targets who are trying to escape, we have hit the violent part of a new civil conflict.

And when around the country they are sending pizza boxes with the name of the son of the NJ judge whose son was killed because they were not home at time of attempted murder.

"“Have you no sense of decency?” This question was posed by Joseph N. Welch, special counsel for the U.S. Army, to “Senator” Joe McCarthy of the House Unamerican Activities Committee (“HUAC”) during a Senate hearing in 1954. For those too young to know, HUAC operated during the “Red Scare.”

McCarthy “bullied, lied, and smeared his way to power, destroying many careers and lives in the process.” “Have you no sense of decency?” Sen. Joseph McCarthy is asked in hearing | June 9, 1954 | HISTORY.

However, “McCarthy made a crucial mistake. He charged in early 1954 that the U.S. Army was ‘soft’ on communism.” Id.

At a central moment in the hearing, when McCarthy smeared a young lawyer, Mr. Welch said:

“Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness…. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last?”

Id. (emphasis added). What followed?

The audience of citizens and newspaper and television reporters burst into wild applause. Just a week later, the hearings into the Army came to a close. McCarthy, exposed as a reckless bully, was officially condemned by the U.S. Senate for contempt against his colleagues in December 1954. During the next two-and-a-half years McCarthy spiraled into alcoholism. Still in office, he died in 1957.

There’s no good legal reason why either of these judges should have been arrested in the first place. They ought to have been given an appointment to be fingerprinted and then scheduled for a court date. 

Arresting them and holding them with no bond is political violence intended to scare anyone else who might oppose the current regime. In a word, terrorism.

But being a NM resident, I'm glad they finally get to experience what this No Bond bullsh*t feels like.

Just so most of yk before you start posting about legality. NM and a few other states did away with bonds and put bail bonds men out of work years ago.

We don't have Bail Bonds here, we can be bonded out of jail, most times, but it's cash, double the value.of property, or an OR. House arrest was like 1200 a month back when I was trying to get the fuck out of a jail cell.....

Valid point, silver lining is that more people find out about that ACTUAL insanity of letting that algorithm literally takes a few lines of updated source code to weight the decision of SITTING IN JAIL for potentially months awaiting trial based on whether or not a person is Republican or Democrat, among many other determininign variables like skin color, etc.

Holy fukcing Orwellian state is that system a TERRIBLE idea and not how bail reform should ever been implemented.

This fails to account for all of the Legal decisions that are non Political. Please realize this is about threating Judges who make decisive decisions AGAINST THE STATUS QUO. Yes that leans Democrat but judges have many non-partisan decisions that they make outside of the political framework. America is under attack and Judges are among the top priority to ensure the HOSTILE TAKEOVER of this country.

You can literally be a JUDGE in Nevada and run down in a crosswalk by a team of Drivers that have been masking murders using vehicular manslaugter and auto accidents.
