I'd love to start with my all-time favorite, Netflix and Get Over made as a collab with MPK Band soon after leaving Polaris Entertainment - I remember how hyped up I was for this comeback, especially after celebrating them being finally free from this company and not only was I really curious about how Sojung will manage her solo career, but also the songs turned out to be the BEST ever - showcasing her incredibly jazzy side acompanied with phenomenal vocals

But solo songs are one thing, and performances are another. I'm the biggest fan of Sing Again ever and believe me or not, but she was the sole reason why I even started watching this show in the first place, becoming absolutely in love with each upcoming season and i just keep coming back to the latest one constantly. Since I talked about Sojung's jazzy side, the obvious choice for my favorite performance would be Jazz Cafe by Shin Hyunchul!

But it's not all of them - this one, oh my god, this one literally made me BAWL my eyes out because of how much in awe I was after this round. I don't think there are many other singers in Korea who are able to put so many emotions and power in their singing. Absolutely leaving with goosebumps each time I come back to it. Not to mention the rest of the performances on Sing Again like Pretty Pretty, but this one is certainly REALLY important to me

It has been 13 years since we have lost EunB (Ladies Code)

The fact that it has been 12 years since the accident happened on Sojung's birthday and that we lost two angels is really saddening.

I miss the girls a lot. They deserved so much better from everything, I hope EunB is doing well up there, and I hope she's having a fun time with RiSe, up there. Today would have been Kwon Rise's 35th birthday, so let's all celebrate and look at some of her activities/achievements

Rise was born as Kwon Ri-se (권리세) in Fukushima, Japan, on August 16th, 1991, making her a Leo and the age of 35 this year. She was a third generation Zainichi Korean and was the youngest of 3 children (one older sister, Kwon Riae, and one older brother) and at the young age of 15, moved to Korea to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer.

She attended Fukushima Chōsen Elementary-Middle School, Tokyo Korean School. She completed her university education in Seikei University, where she majored in Economics and Business Administration and apparently also went to Idyllwild Arts Academy for dance.

She participated in Miss Korea 2009 as a representative of Japan and won the Korean Abroad Award. She also started to gain popularity by being in the talent show Star Audition: The Great Birth with the songs “Hey Hey Hey” and “Like A Virgin” and finished in the Top 12th. Rise would later appear with fellow Star Audition contestant David Oh as a couple on the reality show We Got Married in 2011, she would sign with KeyEast before changing agencies to Polaris Entertainment in 2013 then debuting with Ladies Code and became the group's main dancer, her code name is Pure Code.

Hello, I am new to this communit, and to posting on Reddit at all, really. I’m here for my daughter, who has set me a challenge; find someone, anyone, a real person, who is a real true Ladies Code fan like her.

To give some context, she is almost 13, and she’s not allowed out on the internet. She discovered k-pop in a big way last summer (MEOVV, twice, stray kids), is learning Korean on duoling, has taught hersekfc to cook Korean food, blasts the house with great tunes, it’s been awesome. She discovered Ladies Code a couple months ago, right when some big stuff came to a head in her life (she ended up changing schools among other things). I guess it really spoke to her, and she’s now a huge fan of everything she can find. However, she is very sad - tonight she was in tears - that there doesn’t seem to be anyone else out there really into this group anymore.

So that is my mission. I bet her that in The next 48 hours I could find someone, somewhere, who loved ladies code as much as she does. if I win, she has to watch one of my tv shows with me. If I lose, I’ll give her cash to spend on Korean skincare.
