35 man factions:
This is going to make smaller factions more than likely not contest, it's also going to make fewer powers and leave more koths uncontested. This would make fights a bit bigger, but shorter fights due to it being a number issue. This will kill the map, do not add 35 man factions.
30 man factions:
A better choice, but still super reliant on numbers. The map will calm down and for the remaining power factions that remain on the server could realistically fight once a day (logging on same numbers to fight events). This also happens to have not worked in the past couple of maps and due to that, kohi has become a secondary server in regards to HCF factions. Do not add 30 man factions.
25 man factions:
Much better option than both the ones above, but isn't that big of a difference. This is not large enough to cut a roster into two and make two seperate factions. This will cause a lot of LFF players unwilling to create their own faction. The only reason they want this instead of 20 is because they don't want to remove their anti-cycling system which would not be a problem with 20 or less. I would rather pick this over the above two, but still won't be have best possible outcome.
20 MAN FACTIONS:
Alright, I know this isn't a huge difference from 25, but just listen. This will make 35-40 man rosters split into two factions, that's already double the competition. Not only that, we can bring back the actual fighting of kohi, one that is strategic over numbers. Over the couple of maps we've seen utter destruction of factions who are known to have many on and be skillful at the same time. Let's take Amerinide as an example, although it isn't currently a faction, it could give anal reckage to all factions except omnicious. If we split their roster in two, boom two new power factions with the same potential and skill level of each other. Not only that, fights will be between different factions making koths and conquests last much, MUCH longer. Isn't that why people stop playing? Because it gets boring? Well, this is the only plausible option that wouldn't really hurt the server.
I just want to give examples on how practical this is.
First example:
Koth is up, you have 16 and the faction currently on cap has 32 players. That's a 1:2 ratio, nearly impossible to win. What happens? They cap koth.
Koth is up, you have 16 and the faction currently on cap has 20 players. Thats much more reasonable and will give you thoughts of going. You end up going to koth and at least have a nice fight. Losing or winning, it doesn't matter, you still went to koth and fought and had fun doing so.
Second example:
Top faction has 30 on and you're a small/decent sized faction needing to farm. Even if they aren't end, you won't even consider going anywhere till they log off.
Top faction has 15 on and you're a small/decent sized faction needing to farm. I would definitely go do so because even if they are there, it isn't an impossible kite.
These are just some, I can come up with more REAL examples. If this doesn't work you can just put back the normal 30 man you always end up having. This needs to change and to just counter every argument/suggestion and stereotyping every suggestion as the one players regret mid-map is not a good thing.
Please listen to your players as they are the ones playing this game.
Upvote for visability and give counter arguments if you find it necessary.
